JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Cinematic Video Editor to join our growing real estate media team. This role focuses on editing high-quality horizontal, YouTube-style real estate property tours, typically 1–3 minutes long, with a strong emphasis on cinematic storytelling, colour grading, and premium visual aesthetics.

The ideal candidate has a strong creative eye, understands what makes a property video look polished and visually compelling, and can consistently deliver high-quality edits within tight deadlines. We are looking for someone who can do more than simply follow a template — someone who understands our visual style, makes thoughtful creative decisions, and brings fresh ideas to every project.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Edit cinematic horizontal real estate property tours, typically 1–3 minutes in length.
- Perform professional colour correction and colour grading to achieve a consistent, polished, cinematic look.
- Select appropriate shots, music, transitions, and pacing to create engaging visual storytelling.
- Maintain our company's visual identity, creative direction, and aesthetic standards across all projects.
- Add captions, titles, text overlays, and graphics when required.
- Use AI video generation platforms such as Higgsfield to create creative enhancements and explore new visual possibilities.
- Stay current with trends in real estate videography, filmmaking, editing techniques, and AI-powered video production.
- Bring new creative ideas and continuously look for ways to improve our content.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining organized files and consistent quality.

**Production Expectations:**

- Meet a strict **24-hour turnaround time** for standard projects.
- Consistently edit and deliver **3–4 videos per day** while maintaining our quality standards.
- Work independently, manage deadlines, and incorporate feedback efficiently.

**Requirements:**

- Advanced proficiency in Final Cut Pro.
- Proven video editing experience and a strong portfolio or showreel.
- Strong understanding of colour correction, colour grading, cinematic pacing, music selection, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent eye for detail, composition, lighting, and visual aesthetics.
- Experience with captions, titles, and text overlays.
- Familiarity with AI video platforms, particularly Higgsfield, or the ability to learn new AI tools quickly.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience in real estate, architecture, interiors, or luxury property videography is a strong asset.
