About us
Fast Close AI is a growing virtual CPA firm in New York. We help U.S. individuals and small businesses with tax, bookkeeping and international tax. We need someone to answer and screen new leads so our CPA can spend his time with qualified clients.

What you will deliver
- Reply quickly to new inbound leads (Thumbtack, our website, HubSpot) by phone, text and email.
- Ask a short set of screening questions: service needed, tax years, IRS letters, foreign accounts or companies, and timeline.
- Book qualified leads on the CPA's calendar.
- Politely close out leads that aren't a fit.
- Keep HubSpot notes and lead status up to date.
- Follow up with leads who haven't booked.
- Send a short end-of-day report: leads in, booked, declined, waiting.

What you will not do
- Give tax advice or quote prices. Those questions go to the CPA.
- Contact anyone who didn't reach out to us first.

What we're looking for
- Clear, professional spoken and written English, and comfortable on the phone with U.S. clients.
- 1+ year in appointment setting, inside sales or customer service. Accounting or tax experience is a plus.
- Able to cover a 4-hour window during U.S. Eastern business hours (9 AM to 6 PM ET), Monday to Friday. You choose the window with us.
- Reliable internet, a quiet workspace, and your own computer and headset.
- Comfortable with a CRM. HubSpot is a plus.

Terms
- Independent contract, about 20 hours/week to start, with room to grow.
- $5/hr, paid twice a month via Wise or PayPal.
- $10 bonus for each qualified consult that takes place.
- Starts with a 2-week paid trial.
- You'll sign a confidentiality agreement because you'll handle client contact details.
