About us

Guidesource is a UK-based deal origination and market intelligence firm. We run outreach on behalf of M&A advisory firms and acquisitive companies, approaching business owners who might be open to a sale.

The role

This is our most trusted role. You'll work inside our clients' own email accounts, sending approaches and handling the replies that come back — which means the business owners you're writing to believe they're corresponding directly with a UK firm.

That puts a high bar on written English and on organisation. You'll be running several mailboxes at once, each for a different client with different messaging, and keeping every one of them tidy and up to date. You'll have a playbook covering the common replies and a clear rule about what gets escalated rather than answered.

You'll work through a remote connection to a computer in our UK office, which we set up and support.

What you'll do
Load and send approved outreach sequences from multiple client email accounts
Use Instantly for outreach campaigns (essential)
Monitor those inboxes daily and respond using our agreed playbook
Recognise the difference between a polite brush-off, a "not right now" worth diarising, and a genuinely interested owner — and escalate the last one immediately
Log every outcome in our tracker so clients get an accurate weekly picture
Manage LinkedIn connection requests and messages alongside email
Flag anything unusual rather than improvising
What we're looking for
Excellent written English. You'll be writing to UK company directors and it needs to read naturally
Highly organised. Running three or more mailboxes at once, at volume, without losing track of anything
Sound judgement about when to answer and when to ask
Discretion — you'll have access to confidential client information and target company details
Reliable internet, since you'll be working through a remote desktop connection all day
Working hours

We need full overlap with UK business hours so that replies land the same working day. Our preference is a shift running into the UK morning and afternoon. We'll discuss the exact pattern at interview.

Nice to have
Experience in customer support, executive assistance, sales development or inbox management
Familiarity with Smartlead, Instantly, Outlook or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Exposure to professional services, finance or B2B sales
Details
Full-time, 40 hours per week
$500–700 USD per month, with the final figure to be confirmed based on experience and shift pattern
Paid monthly, long-term contract, performance reviews at 3 and 12 months
Fully remote, remote access and setup provided
