About Us
We’re a growing US e-commerce brand selling emergency preparedness products like water filtration and survival gear. Our customers are real people with real reasons for buying, and we want to hear those reasons directly from them.
The Role
You’ll call our existing customers and have friendly, natural conversations with them to understand:
Why they bought from us and what pushed them to buy
What problems, worries, or situations led them to look for our products
What they like, what they don’t, and what almost stopped them from buying
How they describe our products in their own words
These calls are not sales calls. You won’t be selling anything. Your job is to listen, ask good follow-up questions, and help customers feel comfortable sharing. After each call, you’ll write up clear notes and log the key insights in a shared sheet.
Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to customers from a provided list
Follow a question guide while keeping the conversation natural and relaxed
Ask follow-up questions to get specific, detailed answers
Record clear, organized notes after every call, using the customer’s own words where possible
Share recurring themes and standout insights with the team each week
Requirements
Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent that US customers can easily understand. This is the most important requirement.
Strong written English for call notes
Friendly, confident phone presence, and comfort talking with strangers
A good listener who is genuinely curious and knows how to dig deeper
Reliable internet, a quiet work space, and a good headset
Available during US business hours
Nice to Have
Experience in customer service, market research, surveys, or call center work
Experience with US customers
Familiarity with Google Sheets
How to Apply
1. Send your resume.
2. Record a 1–2 minute voice clip introducing yourself and explaining why you’d be great at talking with customers. Include the link (Google Drive, Vocaroo, etc.).
3. Start your application with the words “PREPARED CALLER” so we know you read the full post.
Applications that don’t include the voice clip and the phrase will not be considered. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to book an interview.
