JOB OVERVIEW

Meta Ads Manager (Ticket Sales)

Stars and Stories Live

Who we are
Stars and Stories Live creates storytelling concerts. Our shows tell the true stories behind legendary artists like the Eagles, Tom Petty and Linda Ronstadt through live music and multimedia. We’re based in Edmonton, Canada, we tour theatres across the country, and we’re growing fast.
See what we do at ---------- and on Facebook and Instagram.

The role
You’ll run the paid ads that sell our tickets. Every show has a date, a city and a theatre full of seats to fill. Your job is to get the right people to buy, at a cost that makes sense, and to tell us clearly what’s working. You’ll work closely with our two co-founders, our social media and design team, and our video editor.

Hours
We need you online and reachable Monday to Friday, 8 am to noon Mountain Time. That’s when our team is working and when we make decisions about ads. Right now that’s 10 pm to 2 am Philippine time. Please only apply if these hours work for you.

What you’ll do

Plan, build and run Meta ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram to sell tickets for each show
Build and test audiences for each city using location, age, interests, lookalikes and our customer lists
Set up and maintain the Meta Pixel and conversion tracking so we can see which ads lead to ticket sales
Manage ad budgets across multiple shows and cities at once
Test creative, copy and offers, then shift money toward what’s selling
Plan ad timing around each show, from announcement through final week
Send a short weekly report: spend, tickets sold, cost per ticket and what you’d change next
Work with our designer and video editor on the ads you need

You must have

At least two years running paid Meta campaigns with real budgets
Proof of campaigns that drove purchases or sales, not just likes, clicks or followers
Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, the Pixel, the Conversions API, custom and lookalike audiences, and attribution
Experience optimizing for purchases and reporting cost per sale or return on ad spend
Clear written English and the habit of explaining results simply

Bonus points

Experience selling tickets for concerts, theatre, festivals or other live events
Experience reaching Canadian or North American audiences, especially adults 45 and up
Experience tracking sales through a ticketing platform
Google Ads or YouTube Ads experience
Comfort with Google Analytics

How to apply
We read every application, but we can only consider ones that include all of the following:

A screenshot from Meta Ads Manager showing a campaign you ran, with spend, results and cost per result visible. You can blur the client name.
A short description of that campaign: the goal, the budget, the audience, what you changed along the way and the final result.
The largest monthly Meta ad budget you’ve managed.
How you would set up tracking so we know which ads sold tickets.
Start your application with the words “Front row seats” so we know you read this far.
