JOB OVERVIEW

Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Director of Operations / Founder
Compensation: Base + performance bonus tied to affiliate-driven revenue (DOE)

About Us

We are a fast-growing research peptide brand serving the research and scientific community. Our products are sold for research and laboratory use, and we operate at the intersection of life sciences, e-commerce, and creator-driven marketing. We’re scaling our affiliate program aggressively and need an operator who can build relationships, run high-volume outreach, and treat compliance as non-negotiable.

Role Overview

The Affiliate Manager owns the day-to-day operation and growth of our affiliate program end-to-end. You will manage the existing affiliate roster, source and recruit new micro-influencers (primarily fitness, biohacking, and research-adjacent creators in the 1K–5K follower range on Instagram and TikTok), and drive measurable lift in affiliate-attributed revenue. This is a builder role — heavy on outreach, relationship management, and operational rigor — not a sit-back-and-track-numbers role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Affiliate Recruitment & Sourcing

a. Identify and prospect micro-influencers in the 1K–5K Instagram/TikTok follower range across fitness, bodybuilding, biohacking, longevity, and research-adjacent niches.
b. Build and maintain a sourcing pipeline using tools such as Modash, Heepsy, Upfluence, Shoutcart, or manual hashtag/competitor scraping
c. Run high-volume cold outreach via DM, email, and creator platforms; manage response rates, follow-up cadences, and conversion-to-onboarded metrics
d. Identify lookalike creators based on top-performing existing affiliates
e. Monitor competitor affiliate rosters and recruit overlapping or adjacent talent

2. Affiliate Relationship Management

a. Own the relationship with every affiliate in the program — be the single point of contact for questions, payouts, content support, and escalations
b. Onboard new affiliates: account setup in SliceWP (or our affiliate platform of record), tracking links, custom discount codes, swipe copy, and brand guidelines.
c. Provide affiliates with creative assets, product information, content briefs, and seasonal campaign packets.
d. Build personal rapport with top performers; identify candidates for elevated tiers, exclusivity deals, or paid partnerships
e. Re-engage dormant or underperforming affiliates with targeted campaigns and incentive resets.

3. Program Operations

a. Manage the affiliate platform (SliceWP / equivalent): commission tiers, payout schedules, tracking link integrity, fraud monitoring, and de-duplication of attribution
b. Process and verify affiliate payouts on schedule; resolve disputes quickly.
c. Maintain a clean, segmented affiliate CRM (by tier, niche, performance, content type, platform).
d. Build and run incentive programs: bonus tiers, leaderboards, seasonal contests, product seeding campaigns.
e. Coordinate product seeding shipments to new and prospective affiliates.

4. Performance & Reporting

a. Own KPIs: affiliate-driven revenue, conversion rate by affiliate, EPC (earnings per click), AOV from affiliate traffic, new-affiliate recruitment rate, activation rate, and retention
b. Build and deliver weekly and monthly reporting dashboards on program health and top performers
c. A/B test commission structures, creative briefs, promo codes, and outreach messaging
d. Identify top-performing content formats and creator profiles; codify into recruitment criteria

5. Compliance & Brand Safety (Critical)

a. Enforce strict compliance with our research-use-only product positioning across all affiliate content — no medical claims, no human-consumption claims, no dosing guidance, no before/after imagery implying human use, no disease/treatment language
b. Review and approve affiliate content before posting where required; spot-monitor live content
c. Maintain FTC disclosure compliance across all affiliate posts (#ad, #sponsored, material connection language)
d. Maintain documentation of content guidelines, affiliate agreements, and acknowledgment of compliance terms
e. Flag and escalate any affiliate behavior that creates regulatory or brand risk

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

a. Work with the paid ads team to avoid customer cannibalization between affiliate and direct-response channels
b. Coordinate with customer service on affiliate-coded order issues
c. Partner with the content team on creative assets, swipe files, and brand guideline updates
d. Feed affiliate content performance back into broader marketing strategy

Required Qualifications:

- 2+ years managing an affiliate, influencer, or creator program at an e-commerce brand
- Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing micro-influencers (not just macro/celebrity tier) on Instagram and TikTok
- Hands-on experience with an affiliate platform (SliceWP, Refersion, Impact, ShareASale, GoAffPro, or similar)
- Strong cold-outreach skills — comfortable running high-volume DM and email campaigns and measuring funnel conversion
- Working knowledge of FTC disclosure rules and creator marketing compliance
- Excellent written communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized — strong CRM/spreadsheet/dashboard discipline
- Self-directed; capable of operating without daily oversight in a remote environment

Preferred / Nice to haves:
- Prior experience in supplements, nootropics, peptides, sports nutrition, or fitness e-commerce
- Familiarity with the research peptide / research compound space and its specific compliance posture (research-use-only positioning, no human-consumption claims)
- Knowledge of WordPress / WooCommerce ecosystem
- Experience with influencer sourcing tools (Modash, Heepsy, Upfluence, Grin)
- Experience with creator seeding logistics
- Basic analytics fluency (GA4, Looker Studio, or similar)

What Success Looks Like

30 days: Fully onboarded into our platform, affiliate roster, and compliance framework. Audit of the current affiliate program, complete with a prioritized improvement list. Outreach pipeline live.

60 days: Net-new active affiliates added at a sustained weekly cadence. Updated onboarding flow, creative asset library, and compliance acknowledgment process deployed. Weekly reporting cadence established.

90 days: Measurable lift in affiliate-attributed revenue. Top-performer tier defined and incentivized. Clear month-over-month growth in active-affiliate count and program revenue contribution.

How to Apply

Send the following in your application:

1. Resume or LinkedIn
2. A short note/description (max 200 words) describing an affiliate or influencer program you’ve grown — include numbers
3. A sample cold outreach DM/email you’d send to a 3K-follower fitness micro-influencer recruiting them to our program
4. Your expected base + commission structure

We move fast. Strong candidates will hear back within 5 business days.
