JOB OVERVIEW

**Direct Response Video Editor (AI Ads) for a DTC Shopify Brand**

If you're a strong direct response editor who is already fluent in AI ad production, you have options. What's harder to find is a brand with real spend behind your work, clear briefs, and pay that rises when your ads win.

We're one of the fastest-growing DTC Shopify brands in Europe, scaling on Meta, and we test a lot of creative. We're looking for an editor at the top of their craft to work with us long term: flat salary, plus a performance bonus system on top.

**The mission**

Make ads that people stop for, watch, and buy from. Hook, pacing, proof, captions, sound, and call to action all serve that one goal.

- **AI ads:** this is the core of the role. AI animations, AI skeleton ads, AI Suno song ads, AI UGC, and whatever format works next.
- **Direct response structure:** a clear line from problem to product to proof to offer, with no wasted seconds.
- **Hooks and iterations:** new openings, new angles, and new variations on winners, shaped by performance data.
- **Your judgment:** we supply briefs, scripts, and hooks. If you see a stronger way to sell the idea, we want to hear it.

**Requirements**

- **Real Meta ad experience for DTC brands.** Your portfolio should show ads built to sell, not cinematic reels or organic content.
- **Hands-on AI production with Higgsfield or KIE.** This is required. You've made these ads yourself, start to finish.
- **Direct response instincts.** You know why a hook works, where viewers drop off, and how to fix it.
- **Strong editing craft.** Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar, with clean captions, sound, and exports.
- **Ownership.** Tell us what you made in each reference and share performance context when you have it.
- **Speed and reliability.** You work independently, flag problems early, and hit deadlines.
- Pet niche experience is a plus.
