ABOUT US
We're a fast-growing Australian company working across the fashion, retail and beauty industries. Our fully remote team has grown from around 30 to almost 50 people in the past year, and we're still growing.
Our Filipino team members are employed through our Philippine company, with full local benefits.
OUR CULTURE
We're a positive, supportive team that genuinely cares about its people. Our values are integrity, compassion, resilience, trust and exceptional delivery, and we hire people who live them. You'll be treated as a valued member of the team, not just a remote worker, with founders who back you, recognise good work and want you to grow with the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring our first dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist to own hiring for our growing team, from approved job brief through to accepted offer. This is a fully remote, work-from-home role. You'll work closely with our HR Business Partner, who looks after every new team member from onboarding onward.
You'll also work directly with the founders. This is a great opportunity for an experienced recruiter who wants real ownership, visibility and a direct hand in building a business. The founders are busy, so you'll need to run your work autonomously, make sound calls without being chased, and manage up: flag risks early, push for decisions and keep them informed without waiting to be asked.
Excellent written and spoken communication is key. You'll be the first point of contact for every candidate and a daily voice to the founders, so clear, confident and professional English is essential.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Run several hiring processes at once, targeting 3–7 successful hires per month
- Write clear, compelling job ads and post them across OnlineJobs.ph, Indeed, JobStreet and SEEK
- Track ad results and improve titles, copy, screening questions and channels when results fall short
- Proactively source passive candidates rather than waiting for applications
- Screen applicants and run first-round interviews covering skills, communication, motivation and fit
- Present a qualified shortlist within 7 business days, explaining why each candidate fits and flagging any concerns
- Coordinate final interviews, reference checks and offers
- Keep every candidate informed, including timely closure for unsuccessful applicants
- Hand over each new hire to our HR Business Partner, and review past hires together to sharpen future hiring
- Report weekly to the founders on open roles, pipeline, ad performance and expected hires
- Use AI tools to work faster, while keeping judgement and candidate communication human
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Excellent written and spoken English – this is essential
- Proven experience independently managing multiple hiring processes at the same time
- Hands-on experience with OnlineJobs.ph, Indeed, JobStreet and/or SEEK, including paid ads and active sourcing
- A confident interviewer with sound judgement of capability and fit
- Comfort using data to change your approach
- Practical, everyday use of AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude
- Self-driven and able to work autonomously, with the confidence to manage up to senior leaders
- Highly organised, proactive and able to keep momentum without close supervision
- A reliable home setup with a quiet workspace and stable internet
- Discretion with confidential information
- Bonus: experience recruiting Filipino talent for Australian companies, or retail and fashion industry experience
WHAT YOU'LL GET
- US$250 per week base pay
- US$50 for every successful hire – at 3–7 hires a month, that's an extra US$150–350 monthly
- Employment through our Philippine company, with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, 13th month pay and HMO health cover
- Paid leave
- A fully remote, work-from-home role
- A positive, supportive team culture
- A long-term role working directly with the founders of a fast-growing business
