JOB OVERVIEW

Simple Style Co | Remote | Part-time with a pathway to full-time
Starting budget: A$1,000–$1,500 per month

Help shape Simple Style Co’s next stage of growth.

Simple Style Co is an Australian online rug retailer helping customers create beautiful, practical homes.

We’re looking for a hands-on ecommerce marketer with excellent interiors taste, strong creative skills and commercial judgement.

You’ll identify growth opportunities, plan campaigns, coordinate Australian content creators and turn photography and UGC into compelling paid ads, organic social content and email assets.

You’ll work directly with the founder, alongside our Paid Advertising Specialist and Operations & Administration Coordinator.

What you’ll do

- Plan campaigns: Recommend products, audiences, messages and creative tests across paid advertising, organic social and email.
- Create marketing assets: Edit UGC and photography into paid ads, Reels, Stories, carousels, Pinterest Pins, TikTok videos and Klaviyo assets.
- Develop strong creative: Write hooks and copy, add text overlays and subtitles, and use appropriately licensed music and audio.
- Coordinate creators: Manage Australian creator outreach, briefs, deadlines, revisions, asset delivery and organic/paid usage rights.
- Analyse performance: Use Shopify, Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads, Meta, Klaviyo and social reports to understand sales sources, investigate declines and identify opportunities.
- Improve results: Turn findings into campaign recommendations, new creative variations and prioritised actions.
- Strengthen product presentation: Identify imagery gaps and coordinate content that helps customers understand and choose our products.
- Coordinate execution: Guide agreed publishing and email delivery with operations support, maintaining consistent imagery and messaging.

What you’ll bring

- Proven ecommerce marketing experience.
- A strong portfolio of paid ads and organic content you personally created from UGC.
- Excellent copywriting, visual judgement and short-form video-editing skills.
- Experience sourcing and coordinating content creators.
- Practical Google Ads and Meta Ads management experience.
- Experience planning Klaviyo campaigns and interpreting campaign and flow performance.
- Confidence interpreting performance data, recognising attribution limitations and making commercial recommendations.
- Initiative, organisation and reliable follow-through.

Homewares or interiors experience is highly regarded. Paid Pinterest and TikTok experience is a bonus.

You won’t need to film products yourself, but you must be able to brief creators effectively and turn their content into polished campaigns.

Engagement and growth opportunity

Start with a part-time contractor engagement, with dedicated weekly availability and regular overlap with Melbourne working hours.

Weekly hours, priorities and deliverables will be agreed before commencement.

You’ll initially collaborate with our existing advertising specialist. Our intention is for the role to progress to full-time ownership of Google Ads and paid social advertising, following demonstrated capability and a documented handover. Full-time remuneration will be agreed separately.

There is a longer-term pathway to Head of Ecommerce & Growth, based on results and business needs.

Apply

Send your CV or profile, portfolio, proposed weekly hours and availability. Include:

- Paid ads and organic content you personally created from UGC.
- A campaign example explaining your contribution, results and measurement approach.
- Your experience with creator coordination, Google Ads and Meta Ads.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a paid practical trial using supplied content and performance information.
