About Après-Ski Daily
Après-Ski Daily is an Alpine lifestyle and après-ski brand focused on the party scene across the European Alps.
We have built a community of 115,000+ followers across Instagram, ---------- and Facebook, generating 50 million views during the last winter season.
We are looking for a highly independent and creative video editor who understands the energy of après-ski, electronic music, festivals and party culture.
This is not a traditional editing role where someone simply receives footage and cuts it together. We are looking for someone who can independently find content, identify great moments and trends, and turn them into engaging short-form videos.
We do not have our own video footage at the moment, so you will be responsible for sourcing content and developing videos from start to finish.

Your Responsibilities
1. Content Research & Sourcing
• Independently find and collect suitable après-ski, skiing, snowboarding, festival and party footage from the European Alps (from posted content by existing venues across the Alps).
• Identify the best clips, moments and angles to create engaging videos.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of suitable content without needing us to provide footage or ideas.

2. Video Editing
• Independently create 7 short-form videos per week for Instagram Reels, ---------- and Facebook Reels.
• Edit high-energy videos focused on après-ski, parties, DJs, electronic music and Alpine nightlife.
• Use strong hooks, fast pacing, well-timed cuts, music synchronization and engaging storytelling.
• Add text overlays, captions and other editing elements where appropriate.
• Understand what makes party videos exciting, immersive and shareable.
• Maintain a consistent style that fits the Après-Ski Daily brand.

3. Publishing & Scheduling
• Submit completed videos for our review and implement feedback or requested changes.
• Schedule approved posts through Metricool.

4. Performance & Improvement
• Monitor video performance and identify which styles, hooks and formats work best.
• Use these insights to continuously improve the content.

What We Are Looking For
• Strong affinity with party video editing, especially après-ski, festivals, nightlife, DJ sets and electronic music.
• Experience editing short-form content for Instagram, ---------- and Facebook.
• A good understanding of viral video formats, hooks, pacing and audience retention.
• The ability to independently source suitable footage and turn it into complete videos.
• A creative eye for selecting exciting moments and combining clips into engaging edits.
• You do not need daily instructions to get things done.
• Reliable communication, organization and respect for deadlines.
• Good written English.

Working Hours & Compensation
• Approximately ± 10 hours per week.
• Flexible working hours. You can organize your own schedule as long as all deliverables and deadlines are met.
