JOB OVERVIEW

Wedding Film Editor – Final Cut Pro (Remote / Freelance)

**Compensation: $250 USD per cinematic wedding film**

We are a US-based wedding filmmaking company looking for a talented and reliable video editor to join our team on a freelance, per-project basis, with the potential for consistent long-term work.

Our films focus on authentic storytelling, beautiful visuals, natural pacing, and meaningful audio. We are looking for someone who understands how to create cinematic wedding films that feel emotional, timeless, and thoughtfully crafted.

Responsibilities
- Edit cinematic wedding highlight films, typically 6–8 minutes in length.
- Build compelling stories using vows, speeches, natural audio, music, and wedding-day footage.
- Select music that complements the emotion and pacing of each film.
- Create smooth transitions and natural storytelling throughout the edit.
- Organize footage and maintain clean, professional Final Cut Pro timelines.
- Deliver completed edits along with fully editable Final Cut Pro project files.
- Communicate regularly regarding progress, questions, and revisions.

Requirements
- *Must be highly proficient and efficient in Final Cut Pro. This is a strict requirement.*
- Previous experience editing cinematic wedding films.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, music selection, and audio.
- Ability to work independently and follow creative direction.
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness.
- Reliable internet connection for transferring large video files.
- Ability to deliver projects within approximately 7–14 days.
- Willingness to make revisions when necessary.

Project Details
- $250 USD per completed 6–8 minute cinematic wedding film.
- Freelance, project-based work with opportunities for ongoing assignments.
- Potential to take on additional projects, including full-length documentary wedding edits, as our working relationship develops.
- All Final Cut Pro project files and associated assets must be delivered upon completion so we can make final adjustments.
