About StoryGen
StoryGen (storygen.agency) is a growing B2B lead generation agency specializing in outbound sales and appointment setting. We help businesses build stronger sales pipelines by developing and managing dedicated Business Development Representative (BDR) teams.
Cold calling is central to our operations, and we combine proven sales techniques with structured workflows, modern technology, automation, and AI-powered tools to drive results.
As our team continues to expand, we're focused on building a training program that helps BDRs develop the skills, confidence, and consistency needed to succeed.
About the Role
We're hiring a BDR Trainer / Cold Caller Trainer to lead new-hire training, support BDR development, and improve overall calling performance.
In this role, you'll guide new team members through onboarding, introduce them to our sales processes and tools, and prepare them to handle real conversations with business decision-makers.
Your responsibilities will extend beyond initial training. You'll evaluate recorded calls, deliver constructive feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide ongoing coaching to help BDRs strengthen their performance.
You'll also collaborate with Account Managers and leadership to refine training resources, improve coaching methods, and build repeatable processes that support a growing remote sales team.
Your impact will be measured through new-hire readiness, faster ramp-up times, improved call quality, stronger process adherence, and consistent BDR performance.
We're open to applicants with different professional backgrounds. While previous sales training experience is an advantage, we also welcome individuals who have demonstrated leadership, mentoring, coaching, or facilitation skills through work experience, internships, academic organizations, or other activities.

- Assess each BDR's readiness before transitioning into independent campaign execution.
2. Call Reviews & Performance Coaching
- Listen to recorded sales calls and evaluate communication effectiveness, script delivery, and overall call execution.
- Provide practical coaching on confidence, tone, active listening, objection handling, and prospect engagement.

- Recognize recurring performance issues and implement targeted improvement plans.
- Offer additional coaching and guidance to BDRs who need support meeting performance expectations.
- Encourage consistent execution of proven calling techniques and quality standards.
3. Training Resources & Documentation
- Develop, organize, and regularly update training guides, onboarding materials, and internal learning resources.
- Create call frameworks, objection-handling references, coaching templates, and practical sales playbooks.
- Maintain up-to-date script libraries and training documentation.
- Document effective sales techniques and incorporate them into future training sessions.
- Revise learning materials to reflect changes in company processes, technology, and outbound strategies.
- Build structured resources that make training more consistent and easier to scale.
