Freelance / Per Project | Full Time | Final Cut Pro Required

Are you a talented wedding video editor with an eye for storytelling and a passion for editing? We’re looking for a skilled freelance editor to join our team and match our cinematic, timeless editing style.

**Who We Are**

We are an Australian wedding film company capturing love stories. We’re expanding our video offerings and looking for an editor who can create meaningful wedding films that match our brand’s aesthetic.

Our focus is **cinematic highlight films ranging from 5–8 minutes, full ceremony and speeches edits** for our wedding couples.

**What You’ll Do**

- Edit cinematic wedding highlight films, weaving together vows, speeches, audio grabs, music, and footage to tell each couple’s story.
- Create full ceremony and speeches edits
- Colour correct and grade footage using **our supplied LUTs**, matching shots to achieve our cohesive, timeless look.
- Sync audio, clean up sound, and balance dialogue and music to elevate the finished film.
- Edit in **Final Cut Pro using proxies** from Sony S-Log3 footage.
- Follow our brand guidelines and reference films to consistently match our style.
- Handle revisions based on feedback.
- Deliver finished exports and XML for relinking to our original footage.

**What We’re Looking For**

✅ **Experience:** At least two years of wedding video editing experience, including cinematic highlight films, short-form teasers, ceremony and speeches edits.

✅ **Software proficiency:** You **must work in Final Cut Pro** and be comfortable editing with proxies.

✅ **Storytelling:** Strong instincts for pacing, music, and emotional moments, with the ability to create an engaging 5–8 minute film.

✅ **Style matching:** The ability to follow our established editing style and reference videos.

✅ **Attention to detail:** Strong shot choice, shot matching, audio editing, and sound design skills.

✅ **Reliability:** Clear English communication, the ability to meet agreed deadlines, and a willingness to take feedback.

✅ **Reliable internet:** A high-speed internet connection capable of handling large wedding footage downloads and project uploads.

**Compensation & Work Details**

- **AUD $200–$350 per project**, with the rate agreed before editing begins based on the deliverables and responsibilities.
- Flexible, remote freelance work.
- Turnaround times agreed before each project begins.
