JOB OVERVIEW

Full Time l EST l 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
• Own and maintain the entire application codebase, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Refactor and improve existing code to meet production-quality standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, particularly within billing and payment workflows where precision is essential.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy new features.
• Review code quality and perform testing before production releases.
• Manage production deployments and monitor application health.
• Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues, communicating directly with clients when necessary.
• Maintain platform security, uptime, and reliability.
• Collaborate with leadership to prioritize product improvements and technical initiatives.


Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in:
o React.js
o Node.js
o Express.js
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and SQL database design.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud preferred, AWS or Azure
accepted).
• Experience integrating or maintaining payment systems (Stripe, Finix, or similar).
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working within large existing codebases.
• Understanding of software architecture, API development, and secure coding practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact directly with customers.
• Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience integrating AI or LLM APIs such as:
o OpenAI
o Anthropic Claude
o Google Gemini
• Previous experience building or maintaining SaaS platforms.
• Healthcare or senior living software experience.
• Familiarity with authentication platforms such as Clerk.
• Experience deploying applications using Vercel.
• CI/CD and DevOps experience is a plus
