JOB OVERVIEW

We are building faceless YouTube explainer channels and are looking for a strong script writer who can research topics and turn them into clear, interesting, easy-to-follow YouTube scripts.

Our videos will cover topics such as:

Engineering

Machines and technology

Science

Infrastructure

History

Interesting facts

“Every Type of ___ Explained”

“How ___ Works”

“Why ___ Happens”

Example channels to understand the style:

Byte Sized Explainer
----------

The Paint Explainer
----------

Bluntly Explained
----------

AiTelly
----------

We are looking for someone who can study successful videos in the niche and understand:

Why the topic is interesting

What questions the viewer wants answered

How to create a strong opening hook

How to keep the script moving without unnecessary filler

How to explain complicated ideas in simple language

How to keep viewers curious until the end

You may use ChatGPT and other AI tools to help with research and organization, but we do NOT want low-quality AI-generated scripts copied and submitted without editing.

Every script should be fact-checked, natural, well organized, and written for a real YouTube audience.

Typical Script Length

Approximately 1,500–2,000 words for an 8–12 minute video.

Responsibilities

Research assigned topics

Study successful competing videos before writing

Create a strong hook in the first 15–30 seconds

Write clear and entertaining scripts

Explain technical subjects simply

Find interesting facts, examples, comparisons, and statistics

Verify important factual claims

Remove filler and repetitive writing

Make revisions when necessary

Provide sources used for important facts

Pay

Starting at $5–$10 USD per approved script, depending on quality and complexity. Paid at the end of the month.

There will be consistent work for the right person.

This position will begin with a 60-day paid trial. Writers who consistently produce strong scripts may receive more work and higher pay over time.

When Applying, Please Answer:

How many years of script writing or content writing experience do you have?

Have you written scripts for faceless YouTube channels before?

Send 2–3 examples of your best YouTube scripts.

What niches have you written about?

How do you research a topic before writing?

How do you fact-check information?

How do you write a strong YouTube hook?

Have you used ChatGPT or other AI tools for research or writing?

How do you make sure an AI-assisted script still sounds natural and original?

How many 1,500–2,000 word scripts could you realistically complete each week?

Are you personally doing the work, or will you subcontract it?

IMPORTANT

We do not want someone who simply asks ChatGPT to write a script and sends us the result.

We want a writer who can use AI as a tool but still:

Research the topic

Verify facts

Improve the structure

Add interesting details

Remove filler

Create curiosity

Write naturally

We want scripts that are simple enough for anyone to understand but interesting enough to keep someone watching until the end.
