JOB OVERVIEW

Canadian Immigration Processing Associate
Independent Contractor | Remote/Hybrid | Canada Hours

Aces Connections Consultancy Inc. is a Canadian immigration practice led by a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), with offices in Regina, Saskatchewan and Makati. We’re engaging an independent contractor to support our clients through their immigration journey: guiding them through each step, keeping them informed, and preparing and reviewing their visa and immigration application files for clients moving to Canada.

No immigration background? We provide onboarding on our processes and the immigration programs you will handle. Strong English communication, independent research skills, attention to detail, and genuine care for clients matter most.

Engagement Details

• Independent contractor engagement, 6-month automatically renewable contract
• Monthly retainer of ₱25,000 – ₱35,000, depending on experience and the file volume you can handle
• Performance bonus per completed file
• Must be available for at least 4 hours daily within Canada (Saskatchewan) business hours, approx. 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM PHT, for client calls and team coordination. You manage the rest of your schedule. Saskatchewan doesn’t observe daylight saving, so this window stays the same all year.
• Work remotely. Our Makati office is available if you prefer to work on-site.

Scope of Work

Client care and support
• Serve as a friendly, reliable point of contact for clients by phone, email, Zoom, and messaging
• Explain document requirements and next steps clearly, so clients always know where their application stands
• Follow up with clients to collect documents and keep files moving
• Respond to client concerns with patience and professionalism, escalating to our licensed consultant when needed

Application processing
• Review client forms and documents for completeness against IRCC requirements
• Prepare application packages for final review by our licensed consultant
• Draft explanation letters, employment reference letters, and client correspondence
• Cross-check employment records, job duties, and supporting evidence

You’ll Do Well If You
• Write clear, professional English. You’ll draft letters and documents submitted to immigration officers.
• Communicate warmly and confidently with clients by phone and video, many of whom are anxious about their applications
• Can research immigration requirements and program updates on your own, using official sources such as IRCC, and apply what you find to each client’s file
• Have strong reading comprehension. You can work through dense policy guidelines, instructions, and client documents and pick out what matters.
• Catch small errors, like a mismatched date or a missing signature
• Can keep several client files moving to deadline on your own
• Have relevant background (a plus, not required): immigration/visa processing, customer support, paralegal or law work, HR/documentation, or back-office support

Requirements
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace suitable for client calls
• Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement
• A company-issued laptop will be provided to protect client confidentiality
