JOB OVERVIEW

Hi! We are a home health staffing agency providing physical, occupational, and speech therapy to patients in their homes. We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented virtual Therapy Coordinator to keep our clinicians, patients, and referral partners connected and our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

*Schedule initial evaluations, visits, re-evaluations, and discharge visits for PT, OT, and ST clinicians

*Receive and process new referrals promptly

*Track start-of-care timelines to meet agency and payer requirements

*Monitor therapy documentation for timeliness and completeness (evaluations, plans of care, progress notes, discharge summaries)

*Track recertification dates, physician orders, and visit frequency compliance

*Maintain accurate records in the EMR system

*Generate and update reports on visit completion, missed visits, and referral volume

*Support quality assurance and audit preparation

*Help identify workflow improvements


Preferred

*1-2+ years of experience in home health, healthcare administration, or a medical office setting
*Strong scheduling and coordination skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
*Comfort learning new software, including EMR/scheduling platforms
*Working knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
*Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
*Familiarity with Medicare home health requirements, OASIS, and plan of care/recertification timelines
*Knowledge of therapy terminology (PT/OT/ST)
*Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations
