JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT US
MP Landscape is a growing landscaping company based in Riverton, Utah. We operate three divisions: landscape design and installation, custom swimming pools, and seasonal Christmas light installation. We are looking for a sharp, organized, full-time virtual assistant to become the operational backbone of the business. This is not a data-entry role. You will touch scheduling, marketing, bookkeeping, subcontractor management, and business development, and you will work directly with the owner.

If you are resourceful, comfortable on the phone with American clients and contractors, and you like owning a wide range of responsibilities, we want to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations & Scheduling
- Manage the company calendar, including job schedules, which employee is assigned to each job, subcontractor commitments, and payment deadlines
- Plan efficient routes for the Christmas lights installation and takedown season using Google Maps
- Manage subcontractor communication: request quotes, follow up on open items, and hold subcontractors accountable to timelines
- Manage multiple email inboxes and text message threads, keeping communication organized and nothing falling through the cracks

Finance & Administration
- Handle basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks
- Review current insurance policies, maintain compliance documentation, and shop for better rates
- Complete paperwork, applications, and forms accurately

Marketing
- Manage social media for all three divisions (Landscape, Pools, and Christmas Lights), including creating and posting Reels and posts
- Request reviews from customers after completed jobs

Business Development
- Conduct cold outreach to development companies and identify new referral partners
- Reach out to local machine shops to establish subcontracting relationships
- Research new business ideas and opportunities and present findings
- Government contract bidding (trail building and related work):
- Research open RFPs and bid opportunities on government, university, and municipal procurement portals
- Review requirements, flag the opportunities worth pursuing, and assemble submission packets
- Track deadlines, registrations, and required documentation so we never miss a filing window

REQUIREMENTS
- Confident using Claude Code and AI tools to work faster and smarter
- Proficient in CapCut for editing Reels and short-form video content
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping
- Excellent spoken English and confidence on the phone with US clients, vendors, and contractors
- Strong organizational skills across multiple inboxes and text threads
- Strong visual and geographic awareness; comfortable navigating and planning with Google Maps
- Detail-oriented and confident completing forms and official paperwork
- Reliable internet connection, backup power, and a quiet work environment for phone calls

SCHEDULE
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Mountain Time. You must work live during our business hours. This is approximately 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM Philippine time (11:00 PM to 8:00 AM from November through mid-March, when the US is on standard time).

COMPENSATION
$1,000/month. Starting rate is $5/hour for the first 3 months during training, increasing to $6/hour once fully trained and working independently.
