Company: HITCON Philippines Technical Solutions Corporation Location: Remote / Hybrid (Philippines) Employment Type: Full-time Department: Corporate Services — Brand & Technology
About Us
HITCON Philippines Technical Solutions Corporation is a Philippine company with Austrian leadership, specializing in technical training and skilled worker development. Through our Welding and Meat Processing Divisions, we prepare Filipino professionals for European industry partners — with training sites across the Philippines and language training through our partners.
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Web & Digital Design Specialist who owns the technical side of HITCON's brand presence. While our marketing team develops the content strategy, you make it look right, work right, and stay right: you keep our website up to date, you design and produce the visual assets for job postings, campaigns, and announcements (videos, photos, graphics), and you ensure that every touchpoint — from the website to a social media post to a printed flyer — is consistent, professional, and unmistakably HITCON.
This is a builder role: less strategy slideshows, more "get it done" production.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management & Updates
Maintain and update the HITCON website: program pages, news, events, and job postings
Implement design updates, new sections, and landing pages (working from our brand guidelines)
Ensure mobile responsiveness, fast loading, and cross-browser functionality
Handle routine technical upkeep: backups, CMS updates, forms, hosting coordination, and basic SEO
Publish content delivered by the marketing team and leadership — quickly and cleanly
Visual Content Production
Design job postings and recruitment materials for LinkedIn,
Edit photos and videos from training sessions, site visits, and events into polished social-ready assets
Produce short-form videos (reels, stories, event recaps) from raw footage
Create brochures, one-pagers, certificates, presentation templates, and simple print materials
Maintain an organized asset library (logos, photos, templates) so the team can always find and reuse brand-compliant files
Brand Consistency (Technical Side)
Apply and enforce the HITCON brand identity across all digital and print output: Hitcon Blue, logo usage, fonts, and layout standards
Ensure partner logos are used correctly in all materials
Set up reusable templates and design systems so non-designers produce on-brand content
Quality-check all external-facing visuals before publication
Tools & Infrastructure
Manage the design and web toolchain (CMS, design and video editing tools)
Support the Online & Social Media Marketing Manager with technical execution: scheduled posts, ad setup, pixel/tag basics
Assist with
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, IT, Digital Design, or equivalent practical experience
2+ years of hands-on experience with website maintenance (WordPress, Wix, or similar CMS)
Solid portfolio in graphic design AND photo/video editing (please include links)
Proficiency with at least one professional design suite (Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, or comparable) plus Canva
Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
Strong attention to detail — you spot a misaligned logo or off-brand color instantly
Able to work independently and deliver reliable turnaround times
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HTML/CSS basics and website troubleshooting
Basic motion graphics or animation skills
Photography/videography skills (shooting, not just editing) for training site visits
Familiarity with
German language skills (a plus, not required)
Interest in skilled trades, welding, or vocational training topics
What We Offer
Competitive salary commensurate with experience
Flexible working arrangement (remote/hybrid)
A visible role: your work IS the public face of HITCON across the Philippines and Europe
Direct collaboration with Austrian leadership
Real creative ownership — you build the asset library and design systems, not just execute tickets
