Hey — Neal here. I'm hiring a Video Editor who can take rough footage and turn it into stuff people actually finish watching.
This isn't "make it pretty and hope." I want clean cuts, strong pacing, captions that don't feel like an afterthought, and edits that match the energy of the content. You'll work on short-form and longer pieces across the channels we run, and you'll move fast without sacrificing quality.
What you'll do
- Edit short-form and long-form video (Reels, TikToks, YouTube, ads, and internal content)
- Cut for retention: hooks, pacing, zooms, captions, B-roll, sound design
- Take feedback, iterate quickly, and ship versions without drama
- Organize project files so the next edit isn't a scavenger hunt
- Collaborate with content and creative leads on style and deadlines
What I'm looking for
- Strong portfolio (link it — show, don't tell)
- Comfortable in Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, DaVinci, or similar (tell me your stack)
- Fast turnaround and solid communication in English
- Taste. You know when something feels flat, and you fix it
- Bonus: motion graphics, thumbnails, or light graphic design
Hours / setup
- Remote (Philippines-based)
- Full-time preferred; strong part-time considered
- Reliable internet and a setup that can handle HD editing
