JOB OVERVIEW

I’m a content creator with over 600,000 followers across all platforms looking for a talented long-form YouTube editor to join my team long-term.

My content revolves around traveling the world, giving free haircuts, meeting people from different cultures, and telling real human stories. I need an editor who can take raw footage and turn it into a cinematic, emotional, high-retention YouTube video.

This is NOT just basic cutting and adding captions. I’m looking for someone who understands storytelling.

You should be able to:

* Build a strong story from raw footage
* Create cinematic sequences and montages
* Understand pacing, retention, tension and emotional moments
* Use music and sound design to make moments hit harder
* Color grade footage for a cinematic, professional look
* Know when to use fast cuts and when to let a moment breathe
* Create smooth transitions without over-editing
* Understand hooks and keeping viewers engaged throughout a 10–30+ minute video
* Work with travel/documentary-style footage
* Take feedback well and meet deadlines consistently

Experience with Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is preferred.

I’m looking for someone who is creative, consistent, reliable, communicates well, and actually cares about making great videos.

This can become a long-term position with consistent work as the channel grows.
