JOB OVERVIEW

KIKI Textiles is looking for an exceptional Email Designer for a Fashion Oriented Textile Brand, with outstanding creative and graphic design skills -we are going to be extremely selective.
We are not looking for a “good” email designer.
Just good is not enough.
We are looking for someone with an exceptional eye, exceptional taste, fashion oriented, strong graphic design ability, and the creativity to make people stop scrolling before they even read the copy. Experience is required.

You must understand that email design is not simply putting text, products, and buttons into a template.

It is art direction + graphic design + ecommerce psychology + conversion.

We want someone who can create compliant emails that feel like they belong to a high-fashion brand, while still understanding exactly how to guide the customer toward clicking and purchasing.

You should have:

• Exceptional graphic design skills
• A very strong, elevated aesthetic
• High-fashion / editorial taste
• Extremely high creativity
• Excellent typography, composition, spacing, hierarchy, and visual storytelling
• Deep understanding of ecommerce email design and conversion principles
• Experience designing promotional, editorial, product-launch, storytelling, VIP, educational, and automated-flow emails
• The ability to take a basic idea and turn it into something visually extraordinary
• Strong understanding of mobile-first email design
• Experience working with ecommerce brands — fashion, beauty, luxury, lifestyle, or similarly visual industries strongly preferred
• A portfolio that immediately proves your level

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

You should be comfortable with professional design and ecommerce tools and understand the technical limitations of email - not only how to make something beautiful.

You should understand:

• Klaviyo or similar advanced ecommerce email platforms
• Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or equivalent professional design software
• Designing specifically for desktop + mobile email
• Responsive/mobile-first layouts
• Email-safe typography and layout principles
• Image optimization, compression, sizing, and export for email
• CTA hierarchy and conversion-focused layouts
• Designing around ecommerce customer behavior — click, scroll, product discovery, urgency, offers, launches, etc.
• Creating reusable visual systems without making every email look like the same template
• Organizing design files, assets, versions, and final exports professionally
• Working from a creative brief while also bringing your own ideas and art direction

You should understand the difference between:

“This looks beautiful.”

and

“This looks beautiful AND it is designed to sell.”

We need both.

We are not trying to build good email marketing.

We want some of the best-designed emails in ecommerce.

We need a designer capable of turning that world into emails people actually want to open, look at, click, and buy from.
