JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a health, beauty, and wellness ecommerce company running Meta ads across multiple international markets.

We are looking for an experienced Image Ad Creator who can research strong competitor swipes, understand the concepts behind them, and turn those insights into original static ads for Facebook and Instagram.

Swipe research is a core part of this role. You must be able to find relevant ads, explain why they are worth testing, and develop variations that preserve the hook, angle, or visual concept behind the reference.

You will work closely with a Creative Strategist and receive feedback based on creative testing, media-buying results, and Meta compliance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Research competitor ads using the Meta Ad Library and other approved sources.
- Identify strong hooks, angles, offers, layouts, audience problems, and visual concepts.
- Evaluate swipes using available evidence such as reach, impressions, run duration, repeated concepts, advertiser credibility, market relevance, and product fit.
- Save each swipe with its source link, hook, angle, format, and reason it is worth testing.
- Turn approved swipes and creative briefs into original static ads without directly copying competitors.
- Create variations using different hooks, angles, offers, layouts, and visual approaches.
- Produce advertorial, testimonial, product-benefit, comparison, offer, and problem-solution ads where appropriate.
- Use AI tools when appropriate to create or improve product scenes, backgrounds, models, and other creative elements.
- Correct AI-generated problems involving hands, faces, text, labels, lighting, shadows, and product accuracy.
- Follow briefs carefully and confirm the correct product, market, offer, copy, and claims before submission.
- Organize swipe references, source links, working files, and final creatives clearly.
- Revise ads based on strategist feedback, performance results, and rejected-ad learnings.
- Flag risky health claims, misleading visuals, or unclear instructions before proceeding.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Proven experience creating static Meta ads for ecommerce, dropshipping, or DTC brands.
- Strong swipe-research experience and familiarity with the Meta Ad Library.
- A portfolio containing relevant ecommerce image ads and examples of adapting competitor swipes.
- Ability to explain why a swipe may be working based on evidence rather than appearance alone.
- Ability to distinguish available performance evidence from assumptions. Ad longevity or engagement alone does not prove profitability.
- Ability to preserve the core idea behind a swipe while creating an original ad.
- Strong direct-response design skills, including visual hierarchy, typography, readability, layout, and product presentation.
- Proficiency in Canva. Photoshop or Figma experience is a plus.
- Practical experience with AI image-generation or editing tools is preferred.
- Strong attention to product names, labels, offers, markets, claims, and brief requirements.
- Reliable communication and the ability to complete revisions professionally.
- Full-time, long-term availability, with weekend availability when required.

META COMPLIANCE EXPECTATIONS

You must recognize and flag risky elements such as:

- Cure, treatment, or unsupported medical claims.
- Guaranteed results or unrealistic timelines.
- Misleading before-and-after concepts.
- Aggressive personal-attribute language.
- Unsupported authority or doctor claims.
- Celebrity or television-personality lookalikes.
- Offers or discounts that do not match the approved brief.

If a brief or swipe contains a risky claim or visual, ask the Creative Strategist for clarification before creating or submitting the ad.

HOW TO APPLY

Start your application with the word SWIPE and answer every question below.

1. How many years have you created static image ads for ecommerce, dropshipping, or DTC brands?
2. Which health, beauty, wellness, supplement, or personal-care products and markets have you worked on?
3. Walk us through how you find strong competitor ads using the Meta Ad Library or other sources.
4. What evidence do you use to d ---------- whether a swipe or concept is worth testing? Explain how you use reach, run duration, repeated variations, and other available signals.
5. Share one example of a competitor swipe and the original ad you created from it. Include both links, explain what you changed, and share any verified result available.
6. How do you preserve the main reason a swipe works without copying the competitor directly?
7. Which design and AI tools do you use?
8. Describe one ad where you used AI. Explain what you generated and what you corrected manually.
9. How many high-quality static-ad variations can you normally produce per day?
10. What health or beauty claims and visual concepts would make you stop and request a compliance review?
11. Share your CV and portfolio. Prioritize ecommerce static ads, swipe boards, source links, AI-assisted creatives, and performance results where available. Make sure all links are viewable.
12. State your availability, weekend availability, earliest possible start date, and expected monthly salary in USD.

Applications that do not follow the instructions or provide the requested answers and relevant work samples will not move forward.

Qualified applicants will receive a combined image-ad and swipe-research test task after the initial screening.
