JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills to join our short-term rental (STR) management team. This role supports daily STR operations, with a primary focus on maintenance coordination. Key responsibilities include bookkeeping, assigning and coordinating cleaners, managing guest communication, filing damage claims, overseeing quality checks, and ensuring all units are consistently guest-ready.

Schedule: 6 days per week, 6 hours per day between 8 AM and 5 PM CST

Experience and qualifications

1. What experience do you have with short-term rentals (STRs)? Please describe your responsibilities and the number of properties you supported.
2. Have you handled maintenance troubleshooting and vendor coordination? Please share a brief example.
3. What bookkeeping or basic accounting tasks have you handled, such as tracking expenses, reconciling payouts, or preparing financial reports? Do you hold a QuickBooks certification? If so, please specify which one.
4. Which property management systems (PMS) have you used, and how comfortable are you with each?
5. Which online travel agencies (OTAs) or booking platforms have you worked with?
6. Do you have any relevant degrees, certifications, or training?
7. Please attach your updated CV.

Remote work setup

8. Do you have a quiet, private workspace suitable for full-time remote work?
9. Please share your laptop’s processor, RAM, and storage capacity.
10. What is your primary internet connection? Do you have reliable backup internet and a backup power source?
11. This role requires keeping your camera on during working office hours. Are you comfortable with this requirement?

Availability and compensation

12. When would you be available to start? Please include your time zone.
13. Do you currently have any other work commitments? If so, what hours do they require?
14. Can you commit to 6 hours per day, 6 days per week, with shifts scheduled within the 8:00 AM–5:00 PM window in CST?
15. The rate for the one-month trial period is $3 per hour. A rate increase may be considered afterward based on performance. Please confirm whether these terms are acceptable.
