Mvolo is a fast-growing Dutch direct-to-consumer brand in the light therapy space. We develop and sell science-backed red light, infrared, and daylight therapy products — and we're building a brand that actually converts. Our team is remote, results-driven, and obsessed with what works. We move fast, test constantly, and care deeply about the quality of our creative output.
The Role
We're looking for a Creative Strategist who lives in the pre-production phase of content creation. Your job is not to make the video — your job is to make sure we know exactly what to say before a single frame is shot. You'll be responsible for building the strategic foundation behind our ads and prelanders: deep customer research, identifying core beliefs and pain points, and translating those into sharp, structured copy frameworks that our creative team can execute on.
This is a thinking role as much as a writing role. If you love going deep on why customers buy, how to frame a message to move a specific audience, and what makes a hook actually land — this is for you.
What You'll Do
Conduct in-depth customer and market research (reviews, forums, competitor audits, Reddit threads, etc.) to surface real beliefs, objections, and desires
Identify the belief ladders and pain points that drive purchase decisions for our products
Build clear creative briefs and copy frameworks for prelanders and ad concepts
Write structured copy for static ads and advertorial-style content as needed
Collaborate closely with our team to refine messaging before production begins
Stay current on what's working in DTC e-commerce creative — formats, hooks, angles
What We're Looking For
Required:
Proven experience in e-commerce (DTC or marketplace), ideally with a performance marketing lens
Strong understanding of consumer psychology — beliefs, desires, objections, and how copy addresses them
Ability to conduct structured research and translate findings into clear, usable copy frameworks
Solid copywriting skills: you know the difference between a claim and a belief, and you write accordingly
Strong written English and a structured, clear communication style
Nice to have:
Experience writing prelanders or advertorials
Familiarity with Meta ad formats and what drives scroll-stopping creative
Experience with health, wellness, or physical product brands
