JOB OVERVIEW



We are a U.S.-based **mortgage and private lending company** looking for a highly experienced **GoHighLevel developer who has already built CRM systems specifically for mortgage, lending, hard money, private lending, or real estate finance businesses.**

This is **not** a general GoHighLevel developer position.

I am only interested in applicants who understand the lending business and have already built systems similar to what we need.

If your experience is mostly with agencies, gyms, med spas, contractors, ecommerce companies, or general small businesses, this position is probably not the right fit.

## What We Need

Our business provides financing to real estate investors, including products such as:

- Fix & Flip loans
- DSCR rental loans
- New construction loans
- Bridge loans
- Private / hard money loans

We use GoHighLevel as a major part of our operation for managing:

- Investor leads
- Borrower follow-up
- Loan opportunities
- Loan officer pipelines
- Deal submissions
- Loan processing
- Lead distribution
- Call and SMS activity
- Borrower qualification
- Follow-up campaigns
- Previous clients
- Referral relationships

I need someone who understands how a **mortgage or lending sales operation actually works** and can help us build a custom CRM around that workflow.

## Required Mortgage / Lending Experience

You must have previous experience building or customizing CRM systems for at least one of the following:

- Mortgage companies
- Mortgage brokers
- Private lenders
- Hard money lenders
- DSCR lenders
- Commercial lenders
- Business lenders
- Real estate investment lenders

You should understand concepts such as:

- Borrowers vs. loan opportunities
- Loan officer pipelines
- Lead qualification
- Loan applications
- Deal intake
- Loan processing stages
- Underwriting
- Conditions
- Clear to close
- Funded / closed loans
- Borrower follow-up
- Repeat borrowers
- Referral sources
- Loan products
- LTV / LTC
- Rehab financing
- DSCR
- Bridge financing

You do not need to be a loan officer, but you should already understand the general workflow of a lending business.

You should be highly experienced with:

I am looking for someone who can take GoHighLevel beyond its normal out-of-the-box functionality.

For example, I may explain:

"I want my loan officer to open a borrower, immediately see all active loan opportunities, know when they need to follow up, click a button to perform an action, and automatically move the deal through the correct workflow."

You should be able to determine the best way to build that system.

## Advanced Claude Experience Is Required

You must also be **extremely advanced with Claude**.

I am not looking for someone who simply uses Claude occasionally.

I want someone who understands how to use Claude as a serious development and business tool.

You should be highly experienced with:

- Claude
- Claude Code
- Advanced prompting
- Building projects with Claude
- Using Claude for coding
- Debugging code with Claude
- Creating systems and workflows using Claude
- Giving Claude proper context
- Structuring large prompts and projects
- Using Claude to improve development speed
- Using Claude to analyze existing code
- Using Claude to plan and build applications
- Using Claude alongside GoHighLevel development

Ideally, you should know Claude well enough that you can **teach me how to use it at an advanced level.**

Part of this position may involve helping me understand how to properly use Claude for:

- Developing CRM features
- Creating internal tools
- Writing and improving code
- Troubleshooting
- Planning software projects
- Building automations
- Managing large development projects
- Improving our business processes

If I am not using Claude efficiently, I want you to be able to show me a better way.

## The Type of Person I Am Looking For

I want someone who can act as more than just a developer.

I am looking for someone who can understand my business, understand what I am trying to accomplish, and help determine the best way to build it.

Sometimes I will explain the business problem rather than the technical solution.

Your job will be to help translate that business problem into the right technical solution.

I value someone who can say:

"There is a better way to build this."

or

"Instead of doing it that way in GoHighLevel, I recommend we build it this way."

I want someone who thinks like a developer and systems architect, not simply someone who follows instructions.
