Brand Maven Consulting is a US regulatory consulting firm. We help fertilizer, animal feed, pet food, biostimulant, pest ---------- and seed companies get their products approved for sale in every US state.

Each state has its own rules, forms, fees and deadlines. That is 50 separate regulatory systems. Our clients count on us to get every detail right. Our approval rate across all programs is 99.3%.

Our team is remote. You will report to Esem, our Regulatory Operations & Compliance Manager. Esem is based in the Philippines.

THE ROLE

We are hiring a Regulatory Specialist. This is our most senior coordinator-level role. You will handle product registrations from start to finish, take on the hardest cases, and help our coordinators get their work right.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Read product labels and d ---------- the correct product type in each state, including unclear cases. The product type d ---------- the form, the fee and whether a license is needed.
- Prepare and submit new product registrations and licenses through state forms and online portals.
- Check labels against each state's rules. Flag claims or missing statements that need a label change before we file.
- Look up state requirements when a rule is unclear or has changed, and write down what you found.
- Answer questions and deficiency letters from state agencies, and resubmit corrected filings.
- Run renewal cycles and tonnage (sales volume) reports for your own clients.
- Review coordinators' filings before they go out, and help improve our checklists.
- Ask clients for missing information, clearly and politely.

YOU MUST HAVE

- 4+ years preparing product registrations, licenses or permits for a government regulator. Examples: FDA Philippines (CPR, LTO or cosmetic notification), FPA (fertilizer or pest ---------- registration), BAI (feed or veterinary product registration), or US state or federal agencies.
OR 4+ years as a paralegal or legal assistant handling regulatory or licensing filings.
- Strong attention to detail. One wrong number on a state form can cause a rejection.
- Good judgment when the rules are unclear, and the habit of checking before you guess.
- Clear written English, including emails to clients and government agencies.
- A reliable computer, stable internet, and a backup (mobile data or a second ISP) plus a power backup plan.
- Able to work our schedule (below).

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience with US clients or US government websites.
- Experience in agriculture, food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or chemical registration.
- Experience training or checking the work of other staff.
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams) and PDF editing tools.

SCHEDULE AND PAY

- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
- Start time: 5:00–6:00 AM Philippine time (2:00–3:00 PM US Pacific). This is a day shift in the Philippines.
- Pay: $1,000–1,250 USD per month, based on experience. Paid twice a month.
- 90-day performance review. 13th-month pay in December.
- Long-term role. We are growing.
