Qore Team provides outsourced marketing and sales-development services and is expanding into remote IT support. We help businesses build their pipelines, strengthen their marketing and deliver dependable services. We are growing our remote team, initially focused on the UK, with Australia in our wider plans.
The opportunity
We are looking for a proactive Business Development Representative who can start useful conversations, qualify prospects and book appointments that progress into real sales opportunities. You will research and contact prospective business customers, develop your own prospect pipeline and follow up consistently. Initial work supports Qore’s growth, with outsourced client campaigns included when agreed.
Works with the Sales Lead and Managing Director, with regular collaboration with marketing.
You will contribute directly to a growing business, help shape practical ways of working and see the impact of your work. Priorities may change as the business develops; we will agree achievable responsibilities and delivery expectations.
Key responsibilities
Prospect and build your pipeline
• Research target businesses and decision-makers using approved sources. Check contact accuracy, company fit and the reason for outreach.
• Carry out cold calling, personalised
• Ask clear qualification questions, identify relevant needs and buying roles, handle common objections and agree a sensible next step.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of new, engaged, nurturing and qualified prospects. Use follow-up sequences and dated next actions to develop opportunities over time.
Book and support qualified appointments
• Book meetings with suitable prospects against agreed qualification criteria. Confirm the purpose, attendees and time zone, and provide a concise handover.
• Manage confirmations, reminders, rescheduling and no-show follow-up professionally. Track meetings held as well as meetings booked.
• Record prospect needs, objections, commitments and relevant context in the CRM. Flag opportunities requiring a senior conversation.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, deal stages and task lists. Report progress, challenges and feedback so the team can improve targeting and messaging.
• Participate in coaching, call reviews and campaign tests. Apply feedback and take responsibility for improving the quality of your own work.
• Follow approved data-handling and outreach practices, respect opt-outs and protect client information. Use approved pricing and claims; escalate negotiations and contractual commitments.
Required skills and experience
• At least one year of relevant B2B outbound sales, sales-development or appointment-setting experience with measurable results.
• Confidence initiating cold calls, asking qualification questions, handling objections and maintaining a professional conversation with decision-makers.
• Practical ability to build and develop a prospect pipeline, including systematic nurturing and follow-up beyond the first contact.
• Experience using a CRM and maintaining accurate contact records, activity notes, opportunity stages and next actions.
• Very high written and spoken English proficiency, including clear telephone communication and professional
• Good research skills, attention to detail, resilience and the ability to balance a consistent outreach workload with meeting quality.
• Coachability, dependable remote communication and ownership of commitments. You must be comfortable with changing campaign priorities.
• Willingness and reliable availability to work UK business hours, including agreed prime calling and appointment-setting periods.
Preferred experience
• Experience with outsourced sales companies, lead-generation agencies, BPOs or service providers running campaigns for multiple clients.
• Experience contacting UK or Australian businesses and selling or introducing B2B services, IT, marketing or SaaS.

What success looks like
Success means suitable prospects attend well-qualified meetings, handovers give the next person useful context, and promising contacts receive timely follow-up. We will review meetings held, qualification acceptance, show rates, opportunity progression and CRM accuracy alongside agreed outreach activity.
Availability and contractor terms
The role is full time, 8 hours per day. However, for the right candidate we can be flexible. Reliable availability during agreed UK business hours is essential, including adjustment when UK clocks change. Exact working windows and weekly hours will be agreed before the engagement begins. Tell us your earliest realistic start date and any availability constraints.
• This is a long-term independent contractor engagement. The gross fee, service scope, weekly hours, payment currency and invoicing terms will be agreed in writing.
• You must independently manage and fund the legal, administrative, operational and financial responsibilities of providing your services: relevant registrations and permissions, tax returns and payments, bookkeeping, invoicing, applicable social contributions, insurance, healthcare and provision for time off.
• Provide and maintain your own suitable computer, headset, secure workspace, reliable internet and power, and practical backup arrangements. Include your normal equipment, connectivity, utilities, administration and operating costs in your quoted fee.
• No separate employee benefits, allowances or reimbursements are included unless agreed in writing or required by applicable law. Access to Qore or client systems and any campaign-specific costs will be agreed separately; do not incur expenditure on their behalf without approval.
• Organise your work independently to meet agreed outcomes, UK availability, confidentiality and security requirements. The written agreement and actual working arrangements must comply with applicable law; statutory rights and obligations cannot be waived by describing the engagement as contracting.
