We’re a fast-growing social media marketing agency looking for a highly organized, proactive **Operations Manager** to help lead our remote creative team.
This is not a basic virtual assistant or task-checking position.
We’re looking for someone who can genuinely manage a team, take ownership of daily operations, identify problems before they become bigger problems, and keep everyone accountable without needing constant direction from leadership.
Our team includes video editors, graphic designers, content strategists, quality control, and other creative roles working across multiple client accounts.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Manage the day-to-day workflow of a remote creative team
- Make sure team members know exactly what they are responsible for each day
- Monitor assignments, deadlines, workload, and project progress
- Follow up with team members when work is late, missing, or below standard
- Hold the team accountable without needing leadership to step in constantly
- Identify bottlenecks and solve problems before they affect client delivery
- Communicate clearly with editors, designers, QC, strategists, and leadership
- Make sure feedback and revisions are actually completed
- Help assign and redistribute work when necessary
- Keep our project management systems accurate and organized
- Track attendance, availability, performance, and recurring issues
- Escalate important problems quickly instead of allowing them to sit
- Help onboard new team members and make sure they understand our processes
- Maintain our SOPs and help improve internal systems as the company grows
- Provide leadership with clear updates on what is happening across the team
What We're Looking For
We are specifically looking for someone who is:

- Extremely organized — nothing should be getting lost or forgotten
- Comfortable leading people — you can have difficult conversations when necessary
- Accountable — if something falls under your responsibility, you own the outcome
- Detail-oriented — you notice when something is wrong
- Fast-moving— our agency operates at a high pace
- A strong communicator — especially through written English
- Independent — you do not need someone checking behind you all day
- Solutions-focused — don't just report problems; help solve them
We want someone who takes pride in having a team that runs smoothly.
