JOB OVERVIEW

Digital Marketing & Content Coordinator
Above Saugatuck | Remote | Part-Time

I am hiring an experienced digital marketer to manage content for Above Saugatuck, a community brand based in Westport, Connecticut.

We host private rooftop gatherings centered on movement, wellness, breakfast, and conversation. Our content should reflect the people and experiences we bring together.

I need someone who takes ownership, follows instructions, and completes work without constant reminders.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create Instagram and Facebook posts using our event photos and videos.
• Edit reels with clean transitions, readable text, and appropriate music.
• Write short captions in my voice.
• Design event invitations and promotional graphics.
• Maintain a content calendar with deadlines and approval dates.
• Schedule approved content on the correct business accounts.
• Organize photos, videos, and finished work in Google Drive.
• Track reach, engagement, profile visits, and event inquiries.
• Send a brief weekly report covering completed work, results, and next steps.

WHAT I EXPECT

• Strong written English and proofreading skills.
• Experience managing business Instagram and Facebook accounts.
• Proficiency with Canva, video editing software, Meta Business Suite, and Google Drive.
• Good judgment about fonts, spacing, photo selection, and branding.
• Reliable communication and consistent delivery.
• Accurate dates, times, names, links, and contact details.
• Ability to keep separate businesses and their content organized.
• Willingness to learn my voice and apply feedback.

OUR CONTENT STYLE

Use our real guests, our rooftop, and our event photos.

Write in clear, natural language. Avoid generic motivational captions and sales pitches.

Preserve how people look. Do not alter faces or substitute stock images for our community.

AI tools are welcome for support. You remain responsible for accuracy, originality, and the finished work.

Social media management: Instagram, Facebook, and Meta Business Suite.
• Graphic design: Canva, event flyers, invitations, and consistent branding.
• Video editing: CapCut or similar software for reels.
• Copywriting: Clear captions in your voice.
• Content planning: Turn event photos and videos into a weekly posting schedule.
• Community engagement: Respond to comments and routine inquiries using approved guidance.
• File organization: Manage Google Drive folders and find materials quickly.
• Analytics: Track engagement, profile visits, and event inquiries.
• Quality control: Check dates, names, spelling, links, and the correct account before posting.
Prioritize writing, design, video editing, and reliable follow-through. Ask for finished work samples proving each skill.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES HANDS-ON WORK

I need more than templates or a list of marketing ideas. You should know how to turn existing photos and videos into finished content and manage the process through approval and posting.

HOW TO APPLY

Start your application with “Above Saugatuck.”

Include:

Three relevant work samples: one reel, one event graphic, and one caption.

Your exact contribution to each sample.

One business account you managed and the results you achieved.

Your proposed hourly rate, weekly availability, and time zone.

Your answers to these questions:

How would you turn photos from one rooftop yoga gathering into a week of content?

What would you check before publishing an event invitation?

How would you keep content for separate businesses from getting mixed together?

I will review relevant samples and specific answers. A general résumé or copied introduction will not provide enough information.

Shortlisted applicants will complete a small paid trial using materials I provide. We will agree on the rate, hours, and deliverables before starting.
