JOB OVERVIEW

We’re hiring a video editor who can write scripts and turn them into finished DTC ads.

You need to understand hooks, angles, customer pain points, objections and pacing. You should be able to study a winning ad, understand what makes it work, and build new scripts and variations around that concept.

VSL experience is strongly preferred. You also need to adapt to UGC, product ads and shorter Meta creatives depending on the brief.

We’re a Swedish brand selling across Scandinavia and the Netherlands. Experience creating DTC ads for these markets is a strong plus, especially if you know how to adapt scripts, messaging and visuals to local audiences.

You’ll be expected to:

- Write complete scripts with a clear hook, body and CTA.
- Edit the ad from start to finish, including voiceover, captions, sound and visuals.
- Find or generate B-roll that actually matches what the script is saying.
- Create new hooks and iterations from our best-performing ads.
- Take feedback, meet deadlines and communicate clearly.

You must already know how to use AI tools for video, images and voiceovers, and have access to the tools needed to complete the test. Once you join the team, we’ll cover the AI subscriptions required for the work.

Shortlisted applicants will receive a brief and examples of our best-performing ads. You’ll then create ONE unpaid test ad so we can assess your scripting, creative decisions and editing. The test is unpaid, so please apply only if you’re comfortable with this.
