We are a growing U.S.-based creative agency and consulting practice dedicated to empowering faith-based organizations, ministries, and mission-driven entities. Our team combines cultural insight, data-driven strategy, and compelling visual design to help clients deepen their engagement, enhance cultural competency, and connect effectively with faith-driven communities across the country.
The Graphic Designer creates polished, high-impact visual assets tailored for Black churches, ministries, faith-based conferences, podcasts, and mission-driven organizations. In this role, you will transform creative briefs into engaging designs, adapt visual tones for diverse congregational and community audiences, maintain organized digital asset workflows, and refine work based on collaborative feedback.
Responsibilities
- Create church, conference, event, podcast, social, and campaign graphics.
- Develop distinctly different visual directions rather than applying one template to every client.
- Adapt approved designs into requested sizes.
- Use supplied photographs respectfully and preserve accurate skin tones.
- Follow brand standards, accessibility requirements, deadlines, and file-naming rules.
- Disclose templates, stock assets, and generative AI used in client work.
Qualifications:
- Portfolio demonstrating strong typography, photo treatment, hierarchy, and event promotion.
- Proficiency in Canva Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or comparable tools.
- Ability to receive detailed feedback and make controlled revisions.
- Strong written English and dependable online communication.
- Black church experience is preferred; demonstrated ability to learn the BMC standard is required.
Work begins on a freelance and project-based basis, and there are no guaranteed minimum hours or workload at launch.
Our agency's intent is to provide strong, dependable performers with increasing assignments, transitioning into steady part-time work, and eventually full-time employment as recurring client revenue and workload support it. Please note that this is a potential growth trajectory based on performance and agency capacity—no applicant is promised a specific conversion date, minimum workload, or guaranteed full-time position.
Evaluation Task Policy
During the selection process, applicants may be invited to complete a brief sample design assignment.
- Fictional & Evaluation-Only: Each task is fictional and unpaid, used exclusively to evaluate the applicant’s skills.
- Usage Protections: Completed task work will never be published, sold, repurposed, shown to a client, or incorporated into paid client work.
