JOB OVERVIEW

Job description:
We are a U.S.-based FedEx linehaul trucking company looking for an experienced remote Recruiting & Onboarding Coordinator.
The role will manage CDL driver applicants from first contact through onboarding and start date.
Main responsibilities include:
- Review and respond to Indeed applicants
- Call and pre-screen CDL Class A drivers
- Follow up with candidates by phone, text and email
- Schedule interviews
- Send and track First Advantage background checks and drug testing
- Follow up on incomplete background screening or drug test requirements
- Assist with FedEx contractor onboarding
- Track documents, training and start dates
- Maintain accurate applicant status in our ATS/Airtable/FleetFlow system
- Keep recruiting pipeline organized and report daily progress
Preferred experience:
- U.S. recruiting or HR experience
- CDL/trucking/logistics recruiting experience preferred
- Indeed Employer experience
- Background checks and drug-testing workflows
- First Advantage experience is highly preferred
- ATS/CRM experience
- I-9 / E-Verify familiarity
- Strong spoken English
- Comfortable calling U.S. candidates
- Organized and persistent with follow-up
