We're an affiliate marketing agency looking for a creative producer who can turn research and briefs into compelling video ads. You'll work closely with our ad researcher and bring your own judgment to the hook, story, pacing and edit. You'll also own a practical system for organizing your creative work and keeping its status clear after handoff to media buyers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Produce and edit short-form ad creatives in CapCut.
- Turn research briefs into scripts, storyboards and finished videos.
- Use current AI video models and tools where they improve the creative.
- Create meaningful variations in hooks, angles, visuals and calls to action.
- Improve creatives using feedback and campaign results shared by the team.
- Use assets appropriate for commercial use.
CREATIVE ORGANIZATION & HANDOFF
- Maintain consistent creative IDs and file names, clear folders, source files and version history, with one obvious approved export.
- Keep a lightweight tracker linking briefs, requests and assets through brief → edit → review → approved → launched, with the next step and owner clear.
- Deliver approved files and creative IDs to media buyers. Follow up on launch status, map each creative ID to the corresponding ads using information shared by the team, and record performance feedback to guide the next iteration.
- Improve or replace our current Google Drive + Slack workflow with a practical system or third-party tool you recommend. Keep the system simple enough for a part-time role; no specific tool or paid subscription is required.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong CapCut skills and a portfolio of relevant video work.
- Hands-on experience with current AI video models and production workflows.
- Good judgment about hooks, pacing, storytelling and what makes an ad persuasive.
- The ability to evaluate AI output, fix weak results and deliver polished work.
- Strong organization and follow-through: someone who can keep assets, approvals and handoffs easy for the team to find and track.
HOURS & COMPENSATION
- Part-time: 10–20 hours per week.
- Base pay: US$250–500 per month, depending on experience and agreed hours.
- Quarterly performance bonuses based on creative quality and contribution to results. Bonus amounts and terms will be agreed separately.
HOW TO APPLY
Start your application with LANTERN in uppercase as the very first word, before any greeting. Applications that do not follow this instruction will be disqualified.
Then answer:
1. Share your portfolio and highlight two or three relevant ads. Explain exactly what you created in each.
2. Which AI video models and tools are you using right now? Explain where each fits in your workflow and its limitations.
3. Choose one portfolio example and explain your decisions about the hook, pacing and visuals. What would you test or improve next?
4. Describe your CapCut experience, availability for 10–20 hours per week and compensation expectations within the stated range.
5. We currently request videos in Slack threads and share Google Drive links. Briefly propose a workflow and tools to organize assets and hand them to media buyers. You may recommend replacing either tool. Include one creative ID/file-name example, how you'd track approval, launch and performance feedback, and a concrete example of a system you've used or improved before.
