COMPANY OVERVIEW
BKG is a home-renovation group in the Netherlands. Our brands include Sanitairstudio (bathrooms) and
Tegelstudio (tiles), alongside 25+ other home-improvement brands in the wider BKG group. Our websites rank
in Google today and bring in our leads, and we are rebuilding them on one platform.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You are the technical SEO for the whole group. We are moving our brand websites onto one WordPress
Multisite built with Elementor Pro: 13 brand sites to start, growing to 25+. Each new site replaces a live site that
ranks today, so your first responsibility is that we keep those rankings when we switch. Beyond that you keep
all sites crawlable, fast and well-structured, with fixes that work for every brand at once. You work with our
WordPress developer, who builds what needs code, and with our SEO lead, who owns the content strategy.
Your time is split between the wider BKG group and our bathroom brand, Sanitairstudio.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS
Audit the current live sites and the new templates: crawling and indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data,
site architecture and internal linking. Deliver a fix list prioritized by impact and effort.
Set the technical SEO requirements for our design system before it is rolled out to all brands: heading
structure, URL structure, schema, canonicals and internal linking.
Own the SEO side of every brand launch: URL inventory, redirect map, pre-launch checks, and daily Search
Console monitoring in the first two weeks after the switch.
Write the SEO part of our Brand Launch Playbook, so every next launch follows the same checks.
Implement what you can yourself in WordPress (Rank Math settings, redirects, schema, sitemaps) and brief
our developer on the rest.
Keep our sites readable for AI search as well (AEO/GEO): structured data, clean content structure and crawl
access for AI crawlers.
Monitor Search Console across all properties and report monthly: what changed, what it did, and what
comes next.
REQUIRED SKILLS
3+ years of technical SEO, including larger or multi-site setups.
Proven experience with site migrations or relaunches: URL inventory, 301 redirect mapping, checks before
and after launch, and fixing what goes wrong.
Strong on crawling and indexation: robots.txt, canonicals, sitemaps, noindex, pagination and duplicate
content.
Strong on Core Web Vitals: you read the data (Search Console, PageSpeed Insights, field data) and tell a
developer exactly what to fix.
Structured data: you write and validate JSON-LD, for example Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ,
Article and Breadcrumb.
Hands-on in WordPress: you work in an SEO plugin (Rank Math or Yoast) and understand what a page
builder does to markup and speed.
You prioritize by impact and effort, not by checklist, and look for the fix that helps all sites at once.
Clear written English: audits and briefs a developer can act on without a call.
TOOLS WE USE
Experience with these is a plus. Tell us which ones you have worked with.
Google Search Console and GA4.
Ahrefs or Semrush.
Rank Math on a WordPress Multisite with Elementor Pro.
A crawler such as Screaming Frog. Tell us whether you have your own license.
PageSpeed Insights and Lighthouse; Looker Studio for reporting.
Cloudflare.
NICE TO HAVE
Experience getting content cited in AI answers (AEO/GEO).
Log-file analysis.
Search Console API or Looker Studio dashboards across many properties.
WooCommerce SEO.
Experience with the Dutch or Belgian market; knowledge of Dutch or German.
AVAILABILITY
Part-time, about 14 hours per week, flexible. You meet with our Dutch colleagues during Amsterdam business
hours (CET/CEST), which is afternoon and evening in the Philippines. Around a brand launch you are available
on launch day and you check Search Console daily for the two weeks after. A reliable, high-speed internet
connection is required.
EXPECTATIONS
You think at the scale of 25 sites on one Multisite: you look for the fix that lifts everything, and you sort by
impact and effort rather than running down a generic checklist. You say so when something will hurt rankings,
even if it delays a launch.
WORKING CONDITIONS / SALARY
$223/month. Part-time now, with room to grow as more brands go live. Long-term, stable role.
BONUSES
Paid Time Off after 1.5 months · salary reviews every 2–3 months · professional-development budget · second
monitor after 6 months · new laptop after 2 years.
HOW TO APPLY
Start your message with the word “CANONICAL” so we know you have read the full post. Then answer these
four questions, 3 to 6 sentences each:
1. Describe one technical SEO problem you fixed on a large or multi-site setup: the issue, what you did, and the
result in numbers.
2. We are moving 13 live sites, one by one, onto a new WordPress Multisite: same domains, new templates and
partly new URLs. What do you do before, during and after a switch so the rankings survive? Name your
checks, not just the steps.
3. All our brand sites are built from one set of Elementor templates. Name two or three technical SEO decisions
you would want built into those templates once, so every site benefits.
4. You get Search Console access to a site you have never seen and you have one hour. What do you look at
first, and what would make you raise an alarm?
Also include:
A link to one audit, migration plan or report you made. Remove client names if you need to. Only share what
already exists; please don’t build anything for this.
The tools you work with and whether you have your own licenses, and which hours (Philippine time) you are
available for meetings with our Dutch team.
We read every application that starts with the codeword and answers the questions specifically. Generic or
copy-paste replies aren’t considered.
