JOB OVERVIEW

Hello, I'm Alan, co-owner of the Side Quest ytc. I’m looking for an editor who can take my rough cuts as close to a finished, upload-ready video as possible before my final creative pass. My channel combines real-world investigations, adventures, comedy, and documentary-style storytelling.

Applicants who will be listed for interview will have the chance to make a sample. Don't forget to watch the video reference.

We’ll start with a paid trial using roughly five minutes of rough-cut footage from a larger video. The goal is to turn it into a scene that feels close to something I could publish. You’re free to trim, rearrange, restructure, or remove material if it makes the sequence stronger. Add temporary voiceover where needed and approach it as a storytelling edit, not just a polish pass.
