We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive Interior Design Consultant with strong residential design experience. The ideal candidate is confident across concept development, space planning, 3D visualisation, FF&E sourcing, documentation, and project coordination. You should be organised, a strong communicator, comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and eager to use technology and AI to improve design workflows and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Concept Development: Develop design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and presentations based on client requirements and the overall design direction.
2. Space Planning: Review architectural plans and identify opportunities for design improvements. Create functional floor plans, furniture layouts, and spatial solutions that maximise usability, flow, and functionality.
3. Design Development: Develop concepts into detailed designs, including custom joinery, feature walls, built-ins, and bespoke design elements.
4. 3D Modelling & Visualisation: Create accurate 3D models and realistic, presentation-ready visuals that effectively communicate the design intent.
5. FF&E & Material Sourcing: Source furniture, lighting, finishes, materials, accessories, and other FF&E. Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, specifications, samples, and lead times.
6. Technical Documentation: Prepare technical drawings, elevations, joinery details, specifications, and other documentation required for project delivery.
7. Project Coordination: Coordinate with clients, builders, contractors, suppliers, and trades. Track project deliverables, selections, orders, deadlines, and outstanding items.
8. Budget & Cost Management: Obtain and compare quotations, monitor project costs, and source design solutions that align with project budgets.
9. Client & Team Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal team members throughout the project.

11. SOPs & Process Improvement: Follow company SOPs and contribute to improving internal design, sourcing, documentation, and project management processes.
12. AI & Technology: Stay up to date with AI and emerging technologies and actively use relevant tools to improve efficiency, design development, research, documentation, and workflows.
13. Design Research & Trends: Stay informed about current design trends, materials, products, suppliers, and technologies, bringing relevant ideas and inspiration to projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3 years of professional interior design experience or related work
- Strong understanding of residential interiors, space planning, materials, furniture, lighting, and detailing.
- Experience with FF&E sourcing and supplier coordination.
- Strong 3D modelling and visualisation skills. Please include portfolio link in your cover letter.
