Content & Community Coordinator (Contract, Remote)
About the company
We are a fast-growing AI consultancy that helps organisations turn AI tools into real business outcomes. We work hands-on with teams to identify high-value workflows, train and enable teams, and build practical AI solutions. Our work sits at the intersection of AI strategy, implementation, community, and client delivery.
The founders are active in the AI ecosystem: sharing ideas publicly, hosting workshops and community sessions, and building an audience around practical AI. We need someone who can help turn that presence into consistent, high-quality content and community engagement.
The role
Botified is looking for a creative, reliable, and engaging Content & Community Coordinator to strengthen how we show up externally.
This is not a traditional marketing role where you own strategy alone. Our team stays closely involved in messaging and direction. You’ll take that direction, add creativity and personality, and help us execute consistently across LinkedIn, blog, newsletter, and community touchpoints.
You’ll work closely with a small, hands-on team to keep our external presence fresh, active, and engaging.
Responsibilities
1. Content drafting and publishing
Draft, edit, and publish LinkedIn content. Maintain and publish blog content. Help manage our Substack newsletter. Repurpose ideas and content across channels so strong material gets more than one life.
2. Content operations
Keep the content calendar organized and moving. Turn direction into scheduled, publishable work without dropping follow-through. Track what’s drafted, approved, published, and due next.
3. Workshops and community
Help coordinate and support roughly one workshop or webinar per month. Potentially help host or facilitate those sessions. Support community engagement and other outward-facing initiatives.
4. Creative contribution
Bring practical ideas for how Botified can better connect with its audience. Suggest formats, angles, and light campaigns that fit a founder-led AI consultancy.
What we need from you
Excellent English writing and communication skills, with a strong, natural, engaging writing voice.
Comfortable with LinkedIn, blogs, newsletters, and content publishing.
Genuine excitement and curiosity around AI.
Creative, organized, and dependable; able to move quickly from direction to execution.
Comfortable working closely with a small, hands-on team.
Friendly, engaging personality and comfortable being somewhat outward-facing.
Nice to have: Substack or newsletter experience; content-calendar ownership; hosting webinars/workshops; familiarity with Claude, ChatGPT, Notion, or similar tools.
Work style, hours and expectations
About 40 hours per week.
Compensation: $1,200 USD per month.
Part-time / independent contractor; other clients are fine as long as this work is done well, on time, and with consistent availability.
Meaningful overlap with Pacific Time preferred; founders are based in the United States.
Equipment: your own computer and a stable internet connection.
Attention to detail: when you apply, include the phrase “Close the loop” somewhere in your application so we know you read the whole description.
Proof of work
We will ask every serious applicant for proof of content craft and follow-through. Two options:
Written: share 1–2 writing samples (LinkedIn posts, newsletter issues, or blog posts) you wrote, plus a short note on your process from brief to publish.
Video (preferred): a 2–3 minute Loom walking through a content calendar, publishing workflow, or community/content system you’ve run.
How to apply
Interested candidates should submit the following in our Google form:
A few rules for this application
