JOB OVERVIEW

Reddit Marketing Specialist — Creator Marketing Agency

We are a fast-growing creator marketing and management agency looking for an experienced Reddit Marketing Specialist to join our team long-term.

We manage and grow the online presence of multiple creators, and Reddit is one of our main marketing channels.

This is NOT an entry-level Reddit VA position.

We will train you on our internal systems, content strategy and workflow, but you must already understand Reddit at a high level.

We're looking for somebody who can bring value and Reddit knowledge to our team from day one.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

You will be responsible for helping us build, grow and manage Reddit accounts for multiple online creators.

A major part of the role is understanding how to take an account from the very beginning and develop it into a strong, established Reddit account.

Your responsibilities will include creating strategies for brand-new Reddit accounts, account warming and early-stage account development, building post and comment karma organically, improving overall account reputation and quality, understanding and monitoring CQS (Contributor Quality Score), researching suitable subreddits for different creators, finding new subreddit opportunities, understanding subreddit-specific karma and account-age requirements, and keeping track of which accounts qualify for which communities.

You will also need to understand AutoModerator and common reasons content gets filtered or removed, plan posting strategies across multiple subreddits, research successful posts, titles, formats and posting times, analyze performance, monitor account health and continuously look for ways to improve reach and results.

YOU MUST ALREADY UNDERSTAND REDDIT

We're happy to train the right person on our strategy, but we are NOT looking to teach someone Reddit from scratch.

You should already understand post karma, comment karma, account warming, subreddit research, account-age requirements, subreddit-specific karma requirements, CQS, AutoModerator, Reddit culture, post performance and general account health.

You should understand how to approach a completely new Reddit account, build its reputation naturally and develop it over time.

You should also understand how to research communities properly, determine their requirements and identify which communities are appropriate for different creators.

THE PERSON WE WANT

We want someone who genuinely knows Reddit.

You should be able to look at a new creator, their content and their Reddit account and immediately start thinking about where the account can grow, which communities fit the creator, what requirements need to be reached, how the account should be developed during its first few weeks, what its CQS and overall account health look like, and which new communities or strategies we should be testing.

We don't want somebody who simply waits for instructions every day.

We want somebody who brings ideas, research and strategy to the team.

If you discover a subreddit we should be using, tell us. If you notice an account isn't developing properly, tell us. If you think our strategy can be improved, tell us.

We want you to bring value.

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience managing or growing Reddit accounts.

Strong understanding of Reddit and subreddit culture.

Understanding of karma, account development and account warming.

Understanding of CQS and Reddit account reputation.

Strong subreddit research skills.

TRAINING AND GROWTH

We will train you on our internal workflow, creator strategy, content organization, posting systems, account management process and performance tracking.

You bring the Reddit knowledge. We'll teach you how our agency uses it.

This is intended to become an important position within our agency. Once fully trained and performing well, there will be an opportunity to become a team leader and have other team members working underneath you.
