JOB OVERVIEW

I am hiring a hands-on Google Ads Search specialist for an ongoing, part-time relationship to manage U.S. local-service campaigns.
This is not an entry-level role, and I am not looking for someone who can only launch campaigns or follow Google recommendations.
I need someone who can audit an existing account, identify what is actually hurting performance, verify conversion tracking, distinguish Google Ads conversions from real qualified leads, and clearly explain decisions.
Current and upcoming campaigns include:
• Residential house cleaning in Florida
• Property management / vacation rental cleaning
• Private airport transportation
• Additional Search campaigns as new offers are tested
Required experience
• Google Search Ads
• Local-service lead generation
• Search terms, keywords, match types, and negative keywords
• Location targeting and geographic analysis
• Device and schedule analysis
• Bidding and budget strategy
• Google Tag Manager
• GA4
• Form and phone-call conversion tracking
• Primary vs secondary conversion actions
• Lead-quality analysis
• Landing-page diagnosis
• Google Ads Change History
• Clear reporting
I am especially interested in candidates who understand that:
A Google Ads conversion is not automatically a qualified lead or a sale.
You should be comfortable verifying what actually happened after the conversion using CRM data, call quality, form data, client feedback, or another reliable source.
To apply
Please choose ONE real Google Search local-service campaign that you personally managed and provide:
1. Business type and country
2. Approximate monthly ad spend
3. The specific problem you found
4. What you personally changed
5. Google Ads conversions before/after
6. Actual qualified leads before/after, if available
7. CPA or cost per qualified lead before/after
8. How you verified which leads were actually qualified
9. What conversion actions were Primary versus Secondary
10. Your role: did you personally handle strategy, optimization, and tracking, or were you part of a team?
Please do not send only general statements such as “I optimized keywords, bidding, and negative keywords.” I need one specific case with numbers.
Short video required
Please also send a 3–5 minute Loom or similar video explaining one anonymized Google Ads account you personally managed.
You may hide the client/business name and any confidential information.
In the video, briefly show or explain:
• Date range
• Spend
• Search campaign performance
• Conversion actions
• Which conversions represented real business leads
• One important problem you identified
• One decision you made based on the data
Do not provide passwords, client login access, or confidential customer information.
Important
AI tools are welcome in your normal workflow.
However, shortlisted candidates will complete a practical diagnostic exercise using real exported reports from a paused Google Search campaign.
You will then be asked to explain your conclusions in a short live interview.
I care more about your ability to understand the data and defend your reasoning than how polished your written application sounds.
Compensation
Initial ongoing part-time budget: up to $600 USD/month, depending on experience, scope, and number of active campaigns.
Please include your fixed monthly price in your application.
I am looking for a long-term relationship. We may add more campaigns if the initial work performs well.
Thank you,
Ana
