AutoCAD Drafter — Revisions, Markups & As Built Updates

Part-time, with a path to full-time

This is a CAD drafting role, not a design role. You will be implementing redline/markup changes to
existing Electrical, Hydraulic and Mechanical drawings. Clients send their existing CAD
drawings with mark-ups and redlines — things that need updating, correcting, or bringing up
to date. Your job is to make those changes accurately and quickly in AutoCAD, following the
drawing standard that's already there. It's steady, varied, hands-on CAD drafting work. This is not
designing a project from scratch.

Hours: 16 hours a week to start (approx. 2 - 4 hours/day, 5 days/week — flexible structure available), with the
potential to move to full-time within 6 months based on performance and fit.

Rate: PHP 550 hour
Start: By Negotiation

Arrangement: Direct hire only — no agencies, please. We're also looking for someone who isn't currently
employed full-time with another drafting company or agency, so there's no conflict with our clients' work.

Equipment: You'll need your own PC/laptop, AutoCAD software and a reliable internet connection and power
supply.

Design Assist Partners P/L has been in business for 21+ years, primarily serving Australian clients. We
specialise in updating and revising existing Electrical, Hydraulic, and Mechanical drawings, plus supporting documentation like Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals. Jobs are typically quoted, drafted, and turned around within days, so you'll be
juggling several small, fast-moving revisions each week rather than living on one project for months at a time.

What you'll be doing
• CAD Drafting: implementing marked-up changes for clients in the construction industry. Job specific training will be offered but strong working knowledge of AutoCAD essential.
• O&M Manual: assist with the assembly of client data in Microsoft Word and PDF editor. OJT again supplied.
• Project Deliverables Management. Statements of Work and Job Quotes, completed within four hours;
raising RFI's; monitoring project progress; maintaining a daily Job List and monthly Timesheet/Invoice;
tracking job hours against quoted hours and flagging any drift early; building your own checklists so
your work goes to the client error free.
• Web Research & Lead Generation. Using the internet to assist our direct mail marketing activities.
• Team Contribution (future, as the role grows). Helping train other team members on quality,
timeliness, and project requirements as you take on more responsibility.

What we're looking for
• Hands-on drafting experience executing redline/markup revisions on existing drawings — this is a CAD
Drafter role, not an architect design role.
• A drafting focused background: for example a vocational or technical qualification such as a Bachelor of
Technology (major in Drafting), an Associate's in CAD/Drafting Technology, or equivalent hands-on
training and work experience. We're not looking for a licensed architect or someone building a design
portfolio.
• Comfortable updating Electrical, Hydraulic, and/or Mechanical drawings (prior exposure to any of these
disciplines is a plus).
• Revit/MEP experience is a plus, but not essential.
• Strong written English and solid MS Word/Excel skills for documentation and reporting.
• Comfortable managing your own time, tracking your own hours against quotes, and communicating
proactively rather than waiting to be asked.
• Someone who wants to grow with the role — we're hiring part-time now with a genuine view to full-time
within 6 months for the right person.
