JOB OVERVIEW

Hi! I'm Ewald, founder of a German brand in the football and lifestyle
space. We make high quality apparel for amateur football clubs. Every
club has its own story, and its clothing should feel like it.

I'm looking for a TALENT with real sourcing experience who can help me
find the right manufacturers: in the Philippines, elsewhere in Asia or
in Europe.

HOW IT WORKS
Each club gets its own collection, designed by us. Members and fans
order within a fixed time window. After that, we produce everything in
one run and ship it to the club. We only produce what has already been
sold.

THE CHALLENGE
One club usually orders around 20 to 150 pieces per product. Most
factories ask for 300 or 500 pieces per design. We solve this in two
ways:
• Bundling: we combine the orders of several clubs into one production
run of the same base product. Each club's design is added at the end
through embroidery, print or patches. This way, orders of 200 to 500
pieces can be realistic.
• Small runs: we are just as happy to go small, with partners who
deliver premium quality even at low quantities.

THE PRODUCTS
Zip hoodies, hoodies, jerseys and shorts, as well as scarves, beanies
and socks. Lifestyle, not performance sportswear. Quality comes first:
good fabrics, clean finishing, pieces people love to wear.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Find and vet manufacturers and decorators (knitting, cut and sew,
print, embroidery)
• Request quotes and samples, compare minimums, prices and lead times
• Negotiate low minimums for first orders
• Check samples for fabric, fit and finishing

MUST HAVE
• Hands on experience in apparel sourcing or production
• You know fabrics, weights (GSM), knitting and printing methods
• Factory contacts, or you know exactly how to find reliable ones
• Honest communication: you tell me early when something won't work
• Good English

BIG BONUS
• Experience with jerseys and sublimation printing
• Contacts in several countries
• Knowledge of shipping and import to Europe

HOW WE WORK
We start with paid gigs. If it's a great fit and the company grows,
there's a real path to a long term role. Talent matters more to me than
years of experience. I invest in people and want us to grow together.

HOW TO APPLY
1. Tell me what you have done so far in sourcing or production:
which products, which countries, which kind of clients.
2. Which product categories and countries do you know best?
3. Your availability and rate.

I read every application carefully. Looking forward to hearing from you!
