Job Description:

HeartStamp is a US brand that helps people create personalized greeting cards. Customers can have them printed and mailed, or send them digitally, and we also do invitations and gifts. We're heading into Christmas, our busiest season, and we need a fast, reliable video editor who can start right away. You'll turn raw footage into short-form videos and ads that people watch all the way through, every working day.

What you'll do:

-Edit short vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Pinterest. This includes our card-opening videos, filmed by our team and handed to you with direction.
-Edit creator (UGC) footage to written notes: trims, pacing, captions, on-screen text and brand graphics.
-Build paid ads from multiple sources, including UGC, B-roll, product shots and screen recordings.
-Turn one winning ad into a batch of testable versions with new hooks in the first 2 to 3 seconds, different pacing, captions, text overlays and calls to action.
-Re-cut ads for each platform's size, length and safe zones, and quickly refresh ads that are wearing out with a new intro, trim or overlay.
-Burn in captions for sound-off viewing, and place animated callouts and graphics from our in-house kit.
-Edit YouTube and tutorial videos and brand sizzle reels, including product walkthroughs recorded from our website and iPhone app.
-After we train you on our tools, produce short generative video clips and light motion graphics for our website.
Keep a tidy, tagged footage library so every new version is fast to build.

Must have:
-3+ years editing short-form vertical video for brands, with work you can link to.
-A real feel for hooks. You know the first two seconds d ---------- whether anyone keeps watching.
CapCut fluency. We provide CapCut. Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or After Effects on your own license is a plus.
-Strong written English, quick replies on Slack, and a written daily standup every working day.
-Availability for our daily overlap: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM US Eastern. That's 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM Philippine time now, and 12:00 AM to 3:00 AM from November 1.
-A computer that renders 1080p and 4K without struggling, stable internet, and a backup plan for brownouts.

Nice to have:
-Paid social experience on Meta or TikTok, including cutting ad variations for testing.
-Experience with generative video tools such as Runway, Kling, Veo or Seedance.
-Motion graphics or animated website elements.
-Past work for family, gifting or e-commerce brands.

How we work: Our Social Media Manager and Paid Ads lead will direct your day-to-day work, and our founder gives final approval. Everything runs on written briefs in Notion and Slack. If a brief is unclear, ask before guessing.
