JOB OVERVIEW

About Us
Uphill Benefit Group is a growing US-based Medicare insurance agency serving clients in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs October 15 – December 7, and we're generating a high volume of leads through Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads. We need a sharp, reliable appointment setter to contact every new lead in real time and book them on my calendar.

What You'll Do

Call new Meta Ads leads within minutes of them arriving in Go High Level (GHL)
Confirm the lead's interest and basic information, then book a phone appointment with a licensed agent
Disposition every call accurately in GHL (booked, no answer, voicemail, callback, not interested, etc.)
Follow up on previous and older leads in GHL to re-engage and book appointments
Send appointment confirmations and reminders as needed
Keep notes clean and up to date so the agent is prepared for every call

Important: You will not discuss specific Medicare plans, benefits, or pricing. Your job is to connect with the lead and schedule the appointment. The licensed agent handles all plan conversations.

Requirements

Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent that US seniors (65+) can easily understand

Patient, warm, and professional phone manner — our clients are older adults

At least 1 year of experience in outbound calling, appointment setting, or US call center work

Experience with Go High Level is a strong plus (or with another CRM like HubSpot or Salesforce)
Insurance or Medicare experience is a plus but not required

Reliable internet (with a backup), a quiet workspace, and a quality headset

Available to work US Eastern Time hours: [e.g., Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM ET; some Saturdays]

Compensation & Bonus

This position will include regular hourly/pay compensation plus a performance bonus for every 10 clients who enroll from appointments scheduled by the appointment setter.

What I’m Looking For

I am not looking for someone who simply makes a few calls and waits for people to call back.

I am looking for someone who is:

Proactive

Persistent without being overly aggressive

Comfortable following up multiple times

Fast at responding to new leads

Organized

Goal-oriented

Interested in becoming a valuable part of a growing insurance business

This position has the potential to continue beyond AEP for the right person.
