Video Editor (Part-Time, Remote)
About the Role
We're looking for a part-time video editor (previous experience required) to handle anything video-edit-related — YouTube videos, repurposing them into shorter clips, social content, and video lessons for our online courses. This is a fully remote, ongoing role, not a one-off project.
What You'll Do
We're looking for someone who can take raw footage and turn it into something people actually want to watch — polished, well-paced, and clearly thought through.
• Edit raw footage into finished videos for YouTube, social clips, and course lessons, with tight pacing and a clear sense of what to cut
• Bring a good eye for timing, rhythm, and story — captions, color, and audio should feel intentional, not default settings
• Repurpose long-form video into shorter clips without losing what made the original good
• Speak up with better ways to cut or structure a video when you see one, not just execute instructions literally
• Deliver consistently, on a schedule that starts light and grows as we build momentum together
What We're Looking For
Please don't apply if:
• You're a video production company or agency — we're looking for one dedicated individual, not a team
• You struggle with deadlines or structure — we post on a consistent weekly schedule and can't afford a missed video
• You have a "video ego" and can't take direction — we're building a shared creative vision, not your personal reel
What matters most:
• Hard work and reliable execution matter more than years of experience or a long resume
• Dedicated, on-time, organized, and consistently hits deadlines
• Experience editing talking-head, coaching, or educational-style video — not just highlight reels or music videos
• Own editing software and a workflow that fits fully remote work
• Bonus: experience with podcast or audio editing, or with coaching/personal brand content
