Most editors get handed a brief, told what to make, and spend the next three days waiting on a creative strategist to approve their ideas.
That’s not how this role works.
At DealFuel, you’ll own the entire creative canvas.
Spotting a winning angle…
Writing the script…
Generating the visuals…
Editing the final ad…
…And seeing how it performs in the market.
→ You won’t need to wait for someone else to come up with the concept
→ There’s no five layers of approval between you and a great idea
→ You won’t be boxed into one format, style, or offer
You’ll have the autonomy to experiment with emerging AI tools, jump on viral formats, and turn ideas into finished creatives while everyone else is still talking about them.
And you won’t be making disposable ads for another generic dropshipping store. You’ll work across established products and services in B2B recruitment, SaaS, AI, infoproducts, and high-ticket markets — including DealFuel itself.
We’re looking for someone who wants to be more than an editor. Someone who wants to own the creative, influence the results, and become exceptional at the entire craft.
If that sounds like you, here’s what the role looks like.
Overview:
Your job will be to create world class, high-converting creatives (video ads, launch videos, statics) – across multiple different formats – end-to-end. Meaning, you’ll research, ideate, script, co-ordinate with creators (if relevant), edit, and handle post-production – all by yourself.
(At the start, scripts can be provided – but the goal is to become an 360 ‘creative producer’)
Specific formats include, but are not limited to:
→ B2B Motion Graphics ads
→ UGC ads (with real creators)
→ Ai UGC ads (with AI avatars)
→ Ai Yapper ads (with AI avatars)
→ Ai Podcast ads (with AI avatars)
→ Claymation ads (with animated characters)
→ AI song ads (with custom Suno songs + animations)
→ Ai UGC Video sales letters (5-15 minutes long)
Who we’re looking for:
→ You’re a senior editor or creative strategist with dozens of winning ads under your belt.
→ You ‘live’ online - and you know exactly which formats are viral at any time.
→ You study winning ads & content across multiple niches every single day.
→ You’re obsessed with becoming the best creative producer in the world.
→ You’ve gone through multiple paid courses or coaching programs.
→ You’re ‘in-the-know’ of the latest and best AI tools & workflows.
→ You’re highly competent with AI video gen & editing tools.
KPIs:
We know there’s a big difference between editing a 45-second UGC ad and a 5-minute motion graphics video – so there’s no exact KPI for the number of net new creatives per week or per month.
But the north-star metric is to reach roughly 40 minutes of UNIQUE edited material per month.
Compensation:
First, we will do a small test of 3 creatives to see if the style and quality are on-par.
Next, we will start with a trial month, which will be at $1,500-$3,500+ depending on seniority and skill.
Should we both wish to proceed, we will negotiate a long term compensation package. This will depend on level of experience, output, and availability. But the target compensation long term is:
→ $5,000-$6,000 per month base salary
→ $250-$500+ bonus per winning ad
*Both base & bonuses are negotiable. If you make us a lot of money, we want you to make a lot, too.
