JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing independent publishing business looking for a reliable and organized Virtual Assistant to help us build and manage our own community of book readers.

We publish books in different categories, including children's books, teen books, activity & puzzle books, humor, relationships, and personal development.

## Your Main Task

Your primary responsibility will be to help us find and build a community of genuine readers who are interested in receiving free advance/review copies of our books.

You will NOT be hired to write Amazon reviews yourself.

Your tasks may include:

- Finding potential readers in relevant online communities
- Researching Facebook groups, reader communities, book groups and other suitable platforms
- Recruiting readers for our Early Reader / ARC Team
- Organizing readers by book interests and genres
- Keeping our reader database organized
- Matching the right readers with the right books
- Sending information about available books to our reader community
- Following up with readers
- Keeping track of books sent and reader activity
- Helping us continuously grow the reader community

Our goal is to build a long-term community of real readers rather than finding people for only one book.

## Important

Readers must always be free to give their honest opinion.

We do not pay readers for Amazon reviews and we do not require positive reviews.

The goal is to connect our books with genuine readers who are actually interested in the respective genre.

## Who We Are Looking For

You should be:

- Reliable
- Organized
- Comfortable communicating in English
- Good at online research
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets
- Able to follow instructions carefully
- Proactive and willing to find new ways to recruit readers

Experience with books, ARC teams, Amazon KDP, BookTok, Bookstagram, Facebook Groups, Goodreads, or reader communities is a plus, but not required.

We are looking for someone interested in working with us long-term.
