Amazon Wholesale FBA Research Virtual Assistant
Employment Type: Part-time, Contract
We are seeking highly detail-oriented virtual assistants specializing in Amazon wholesale product research and viability analysis. You must possess a strong internet connection; please provide a screenshot of a recent speed test with your application.
Top Skills Required:
Amazon Wholesale Research Tool Proficiency (Keepa required; Helium 10 or SmartScout a plus)
Margin & Viability Analysis (calculating profitability after wholesale cost, Amazon FBA fees, and prep center fees)
Accurate, Organized Reporting (Google Sheets, real-time daily updates)
IMPORTANT: Applicants without direct hands-on experience using Keepa for Amazon product/listing analysis will not be considered — please do not apply if this does not describe you.
About this role:
We source products through wholesale suppliers/distributors (not private label, not retail arbitrage). You will be given supplier price lists and your job is to evaluate each product/SKU for Amazon resale viability — checking price history, sales rank stability, number of competing sellers on the listing, and whether the product remains profitable after all associated fees.
Experience requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 Amazon stores/accounts supported in a wholesale or product viability research capacity
Experience with stores generating $10K–$50K/month in monthly sales (please state the monthly sales range of accounts you've worked on)
Marketplace experience: please answer directly — Have you personally researched products for the U.S. marketplace? Canada marketplace? Both? Neither? And how many sellers/accounts in each?
Required application answers (please answer each of these directly in your application — do not skip):
Describe your experience using Keepa to evaluate a wholesale product listing — what specific data points do you check (e.g., price history stability, sales rank trend, number of sellers/offers) and why?
Describe one product you personally evaluated from a supplier price list: what was the wholesale cost, the Amazon selling price, and how did you determine whether it was profitable after fees?
State your expected hourly rate.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Reviewing wholesale supplier price lists and checking each SKU against Amazon listing data
Verifying brand/listing eligibility (checking for gating restrictions) where needed
Calculating landed cost and margin (wholesale price + shipping to prep center + prep/FBA fees vs. Amazon sell price)
Flagging products with too many competing sellers or unstable pricing
Organizing and reporting findings in real-time using Google Sheets for daily reporting
Preferred working hours: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. PST and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. PST.
