JOB OVERVIEW

Are you tech-savvy, quick at navigating a computer/typing, great english (spoken and written) and eager to learn? We're seeking a SEO manager to join our online digital marketing agency. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who wants to grow their skills in the digital marketing world. Coding experience is not required. We will provide training in all areas as needed. Experience with SEO and SEO tools (Majestic, ahrefs) a plus. Must be good with google sheets and excel and have excellent communication skills and ability to take direction.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Content Creation and basic graphic design:
- Write and edit content for websites, adhering to SEO (Search Engine Optimization) best practices.
- Assist in crafting engaging and informative website copy.
- Utilize Canva for basic image editing and graphics creation.
- Collaborate on visual elements for web content.

2. SEO Implementation:
- Follow specific SEO instructions to optimize websites for search engines.
- Creation of backlinks to drive results by creating blog posts or guest comments and other SEO tactics
- Help improve website rankings and visibility.

3. Local SEO and Business Listings:
- Help create and verify Google Maps listings for businesses.
- Work on acquiring backlinks for websites to improve online presence.

4. Research:
- Use some online tools (we will teach) to research what websites may be profitable to create

5. Webpage Building:
- Create basic webpages using the word press or similar platforms.
- Customize webpage layouts and designs as needed.

6. Training and Learning:
- Very open to feedback and changes
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques.
- Take advantage of available training to enhance skills.

7. Communication skills
- Has to have strong communication skills, letting your supervisor know what tasks you plan to work at the beginning of the day, what the status of tasks (what is complete, to be completed, late)

- Comfortable asking questions when something is not clear. Does not wait to be asked to raise an issue.

8. Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Assist with various tasks related to our online business to optimize efficiency.

Requirements:
- Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn.
- Has access to computer with strong internet access and google chrome.
- Strong English (C2), especially written
- Familiarity with googlesheets and gmail
- Prior SEO experience with knowledge of how to build backlinks, comments, and citations is ideal
- Basic understanding of graphic design, particularly with Canva.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. Problem solver - does not wait to talk about a problem but proactively looks for a solution
- Experience using SEO tools (Majestic, ahrefs) a plus

- Ability to work U.S. EST business hours to be able to communicate with manager. This is especially critical in first months
