JOB OVERVIEW

TYPE OF WORK: Part-Time / Long-Term

LOCATION: Remote

SCHEDULE: Flexible, with limited availability during U.S. Eastern Time when necessary.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a U.S.-based marketing agency looking for an experienced Google Ads and Meta Ads Specialist to help manage paid advertising campaigns across multiple client accounts.

This is not an entry-level position.

We are looking for someone who understands performance marketing and can independently analyze an account, identify problems, build campaigns, optimize performance, troubleshoot tracking, and explain what should be changed and why.

You will initially support approximately 5–6 advertising accounts across Google and Meta.

We are much more interested in measurable results and good decision-making than simply receiving weekly reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage Google Ads accounts
• Manage Meta/Facebook/Instagram Ads accounts
• Create new campaigns from strategy through launch
• Conduct keyword research
• Build Search campaigns
• Manage Performance Max when appropriate
• Manage Display, remarketing, and YouTube campaigns when appropriate
• Create and manage Meta prospecting and retargeting campaigns
• Develop audience targeting strategies
• Monitor budgets and pacing
• Optimize bids, audiences, keywords, placements, and campaign structures
• Review search terms and add negative keywords
• Conduct structured A/B testing
• Identify poor-performing campaigns and recommend corrective action
• Collaborate with our creative team on ad creative requirements
• Provide clear briefs explaining which advertisements or creative variations are needed
• Monitor CPL, CPA, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, ROAS, and other relevant KPIs
• Set up and troubleshoot conversion tracking
• Create simple, understandable performance reports
• Provide actionable recommendations rather than simply reporting numbers

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

You should have hands-on experience with:

• Google Ads
• Meta Ads Manager
• Google Analytics 4
• Google Tag Manager
• Meta Pixel
• Meta Conversions API
• Conversion tracking
• Google Search campaigns
• Performance Max
• Retargeting
• Lead-generation campaigns
• Landing-page analysis
• Audience targeting
• Keyword research
• Budget optimization

Experience with Google Merchant Center and e-commerce advertising is a plus.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We want someone who actively manages accounts.

You should not simply check campaigns once per week and send automated reports.

We expect you to:

• Notice problems
• Explain why performance changed
• Recommend solutions
• Test new approaches
• Monitor spending carefully
• Communicate when something requires our attention
• Take ownership of campaign performance

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Google Ads experience
• Strong Meta Ads experience
• Experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously
• Agency experience strongly preferred
• Experience advertising for U.S. businesses strongly preferred
• Strong written English
• Excellent attention to detail

Google Ads certifications are helpful but actual campaign experience and results are considerably more important.

TO APPLY

Please send:

1. A short introduction and explanation of your Google/Meta Ads experience.
2. How many advertising accounts you currently manage.
3. Screenshots or anonymized case studies showing results from campaigns you personally managed.
4. Examples of monthly ad spend you have managed.
5. An example of a campaign that was performing poorly and what you did to improve it.
6. Your experience with GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, and conversion tracking.
7. Your expected monthly salary.
8. Your current employment/freelance commitments.

Please begin your application with the words "PAID MEDIA" so we know you read the complete posting.

Shortlisted candidates may be given access to an anonymized advertising scenario and asked to explain what they would investigate and optimize.

We are looking for a long-term team member who can grow with our agency.
